The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) honoured farmer Chintala Sriramamurthy for contributing family-owned land towards the development of Amaravati. Sriramamurthy had pooled around 16.70 acres of land located in Lingayapalem, Sakhamuru and Kondamarajupalem villages for the capital city project. During the recent e-lottery programme held at the APCRDA office in Rayapudi, he was allotted 11 returnable plots. APCRDA Commissioner V. Vijayarama Raju IAS, along with senior officials, presented the provisional allotment certificate to him and felicitated him with a shawl in recognition of his contribution to the capital region development initiative.Read more

The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) conducted a Gram Sabha in Kuragallu as part of the ongoing land acquisition and land pooling activities for the Amaravati capital development project. Senior APCRDA officials informed villagers that farmers whose lands were included in the recent acquisition notification still have an opportunity to join the Land Pooling Scheme (LPS) within the prescribed timeline. Officials also reviewed infrastructure development plans for capital region villages and urged landowners to cooperate with the ongoing works.
