The Noida Authority has initiated preparations to acquire land across 37 villages in Gautam Buddh Nagar and Bulandshahr districts for the first phase of the New Noida project, officially known as the Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region (DNGIR). The acquisition process, expected to begin next month, will cover 24 villages in Bulandshahr and 13 in Gautam Buddh Nagar through a consent-based mechanism. The authority has sought deployment of three tehsildars and plans to establish a temporary field office to facilitate the exercise. Spread over 209.11 sq km across 84 villages, the proposed urban and industrial expansion has been identified as part of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor’s first-phase investment regions. The authority has fixed land acquisition rates at INR 4,300 per sq metre and plans phased development up to 2041, with industrial use forming the largest share of the proposed land allocation.Read more

The Noida Authority has launched a large-scale plot allotment scheme comprising industrial, institutional, commercial, hospital, hotel and corporate office land parcels across multiple sectors in Noida. The scheme includes a 29,408 sq m commercial plot carrying a reserve price of INR 758 crore, making it the highest-valued parcel under the current offering. Authorities stated that the plots will be allotted through e-auction and interview-based processes beginning this month. The launch comes amid rising investor interest linked to infrastructure expansion and the upcoming operationalisation of the Noida International Airport. The National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) is progressing the development of the Multi Modal Logistics Hub and Multi Modal Transport Hub project in Dadri, Greater Noida, under the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme. The integrated infrastructure project in Uttar Pradesh spans more than 1,200 acres and includes logistics, warehousing and passenger transit infrastructure linked to the Eastern and Western Dedicated Freight Corridors. The project involves an estimated development cost of around INR 4,034 crore and carries projected investment potential of approximately INR 1.15 lakh crore. Officials stated that the development is expected to support freight movement, industrial activity and multimodal connectivity in western Uttar Pradesh and the National Capital Region. Noida International Airport has appointed its chief financial officer Nitu Samra as interim chief executive officer with immediate effect after a regulatory requirement mandated that airport CEOs must be Indian nationals.
