The Noida Authority has initiated preparations to acquire land across 37 villages in Gautam Buddh Nagar and Bulandshahr districts for the first phase of the New Noida project, officially known as the Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region (DNGIR). The acquisition process, expected to begin next month, will cover 24 villages in Bulandshahr and 13 in Gautam Buddh Nagar through a consent-based mechanism. The authority has sought deployment of three tehsildars and plans to establish a temporary field office to facilitate the exercise. Spread over 209.11 sq km across 84 villages, the proposed urban and industrial expansion has been identified as part of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor’s first-phase investment regions.
