TCG Real Estate, part of The Chatterjee Group, has entered India’s premium managed-living segment with Yukio, a brand focused on young professionals. The company has expanded Yukio to more than 1,000 beds across two properties in Pune, namely Yukio Jobs and Yukio Gates, within a year of launch. The fully furnished residences combine professionally managed accommodation with housekeeping, laundry, meals, wellness facilities, community activities and technology-enabled resident services. The offering includes amenities such as a game lounge, gym, yoga deck and basketball ground, along with Yukio’s Growth Lab for workshops and networking. The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has directed officials to expedite pending road works around the Kharadi-Keshavnagar bridge and make the facility available to traffic by August 15. The bridge is expected to improve connectivity between Kharadi and Keshavnagar and provide an additional crossing for traffic in the rapidly developing eastern part of Pune. PMC officials have reviewed the remaining works and instructed agencies to complete them within the stipulated timeframe. DBS Bank India has extended a credit facility of INR 520 crore to real estate developer K Raheja Corp for the development of approximately 1.1 million sq. ft. of office space in Balewadi, Pune. The financing will support the development of a commercial tower in the western Pune office market. Separately, private credit-focused investment firm Certus Capital said it committed more than INR 1,000 crore during the first six months of 2026 across residential, commercial and mixed-use real estate opportunities. More than a quarter of Certus Capital’s commitments were in Hyderabad, while Mumbai and Chennai each accounted for 19% and the National Capital Region represented 37%. The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has urged prospective homebuyers to verify all statutory approvals before purchasing properties in the city's newly merged villages, warning against illegal constructions lacking development permissions. The advisory comes amid a rise in unauthorised residential projects in the 23 villages merged into PMC limits, where several buildings have been constructed without mandatory civic approvals.PMC said buyers who purchase such properties may face legal, financial and civic service-related challenges, as unauthorised structures are not eligible for regular municipal permissions or essential services.The civic body has intensified enforcement against illegal developments and advised citizens to verify sanctioned building plans and approvals with the municipal authorities before completing any transaction.Read more

Smartworks Coworking Spaces Ltd has expanded its engagement with L&T Technology Services by leasing more than 1,100 managed workspace desks at its Pune facility. The five-year agreement is expected to generate rental income of INR 55 crore for Smartworks. With the latest transaction, the flexible workspace operator now manages over 2,750 desks for L&T Technology Services across multiple cities.
