TCG Real Estate, part of The Chatterjee Group, has entered India’s premium managed-living segment with Yukio, a brand focused on young professionals. The company has expanded Yukio to more than 1,000 beds across two properties in Pune, namely Yukio Jobs and Yukio Gates, within a year of launch. The fully furnished residences combine professionally managed accommodation with housekeeping, laundry, meals, wellness facilities, community activities and technology-enabled resident services. The offering includes amenities such as a game lounge, gym, yoga deck and basketball ground, along with Yukio’s Growth Lab for workshops and networking. Following its expansion in Pune, TCG plans to enter other metropolitan markets and add another 1,500 beds over the next year, citing growing demand for professionally managed urban accommodation.
TCG Real Estate, the real estate arm of The Chatterjee Group (TCG), has entered the premium managed-living segment with Yukio, a residential brand targeting young professionals.
The move marks TCG Real Estate’s expansion into an emerging residential asset class where managed accommodation combines housing with services, amenities and community-led experiences.
Yukio has been positioned as a managed-living ecosystem designed around the requirements of young professionals. Its offering includes fully furnished residences, professional housekeeping and laundry services, nutritious meals, wellness facilities and digitally enabled resident services.
The properties also feature amenities such as a game lounge, gym, yoga deck and basketball ground. Community programmes form another part of the offering, with the brand seeking to create opportunities for residents to interact and build professional and social connections.
Pratap Chatterjee, founding leader and executive director-CFO of TCG Real Estate, said changing preferences among young professionals were driving demand for higher-quality accommodation and stronger community experiences. He said Yukio was designed to move beyond conventional rental housing by combining technology-enabled services with initiatives such as its Growth Lab, which provides workshops and networking opportunities.
Within a year of its launch, Yukio has expanded its residential capacity to more than 1,000 beds across two properties in Pune — Yukio Jobs and Yukio Gates.
The residences are ready to move into and are supported by professionally managed services intended to simplify day-to-day urban living. The model combines accommodation with food, housekeeping, laundry, wellness and community facilities within the same residential ecosystem.
TCG said the response to Yukio in Pune has encouraged the company to accelerate its expansion plans. The brand is now looking to enter other metropolitan cities across India as it seeks to extend its premium managed-living model to a wider base of young professionals.
Chatterjee said the response in Pune had highlighted increasing demand for professionally managed accommodation and strengthened the company's confidence in the segment's longer-term prospects. TCG plans to add another 1,500 beds over the next year as part of its expansion strategy.
Yukio is aimed at modern professionals seeking fully furnished homes with managed services and community facilities. The brand's model combines accommodation, convenience and resident engagement, reflecting the growing presence of professionally managed living formats within India's urban residential market.
