Synopsis

CRC Group will fly more than 75 business families from Noida on the inaugural commercial flight from Lucknow to Noida International Airport on June 15, 2026, marking the commencement of commercial operations at the greenfield airport. The initiative is intended to highlight the economic significance of the airport and its expected impact on Noida, Greater Noida, the Yamuna Expressway corridor and western Uttar Pradesh. The developer stated that the event will bring together entrepreneurs, industrialists, investors and business leaders to commemorate a project widely viewed as a major infrastructure catalyst for the region. The airport is expected to support growth across logistics, manufacturing, hospitality, warehousing, tourism and real estate while strengthening regional connectivity and investment prospects.

CRC Group has announced that it will fly more than 75 prominent business families from Noida on the first commercial flight from Lucknow to Noida International Airport on June 15, coinciding with the launch of commercial operations at the airport.
The initiative has been organised to mark the opening of Noida International Airport, one of the largest infrastructure projects in northern India, and to underscore its anticipated role in driving economic activity across Noida, Greater Noida, the Yamuna Expressway region and western Uttar Pradesh.
According to the company, the inaugural journey will include entrepreneurs, industrialists, investors and business leaders from Noida. The event is intended to recognise the city’s economic evolution and the opportunities expected to emerge from enhanced regional connectivity and infrastructure development.
Over the past decade, Noida has established itself as a major business destination, attracting technology companies, manufacturing firms, multinational corporations, start-ups and institutional investors. Industry stakeholders attribute this growth to planned urban development, connectivity infrastructure and the region’s expanding industrial base.
The commencement of operations at Noida International Airport is expected to add a new dimension to this growth trajectory. The airport is projected to generate both direct and indirect employment opportunities while supporting sectors such as logistics, warehousing, hospitality, tourism, manufacturing, retail and real estate.
Infrastructure-led development around the airport has already influenced investment activity in the surrounding region. Noida and Greater Noida have witnessed continued demand across residential and commercial real estate segments, supported by metro network expansion, expressway connectivity, data centre investments and increasing corporate occupier activity.
Several micro-markets across the region have recorded capital value appreciation in recent years as investors and end-users position themselves ahead of large-scale infrastructure projects. Industry observers believe the airport will further strengthen the area's attractiveness for business expansion and investment.
The airport is also expected to complement other major projects planned or under development in the region, including the proposed Film City, data centre parks, industrial corridors, rapid rail connectivity initiatives and an expanding expressway network.
Salil Kumar, Director of CRC Group, stated that Noida’s growth extends beyond the real estate sector and reflects broader trends in infrastructure development, entrepreneurship, employment generation and economic expansion. He said the initiative had been conceived to celebrate the confidence of the business community in Noida’s future and to draw attention to the opportunities expected to arise from ongoing infrastructure investments.
The developer noted that the programme aligns with its wider efforts to support community engagement and contribute to discussions around the city’s long-term development. According to the company, transformational infrastructure projects are expected to play a central role in strengthening Noida’s position as a key economic and investment destination in northern India.
With commercial operations commencing at Noida International Airport, the inaugural flight is being positioned as a symbolic representation of the confidence and expectations surrounding the next phase of growth for the region and its business ecosystem.
