The Himachal Pradesh government has inaugurated a 33/11 kV power substation at Patlander in the Sujanpur Legislative Assembly Constituency of Hamirpur district, developed at a cost of INR 7.54 crore. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu virtually inaugurated the facility in the past week, stating that it has been supported by a 7.2-km 33 kV HTSC transmission line connecting Chabutra and Ansla. The project is expected to provide a more reliable electricity supply to around 14,000 residents across 16 Gram Panchayats, including Patlander, Rangar and Chauri.
