The Himachal Pradesh government has inaugurated a 33/11 kV power substation at Patlander in the Sujanpur Legislative Assembly Constituency of Hamirpur district, developed at a cost of INR 7.54 crore. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu virtually inaugurated the facility in the past week, stating that it has been supported by a 7.2-km 33 kV HTSC transmission line connecting Chabutra and Ansla. The project is expected to provide a more reliable electricity supply to around 14,000 residents across 16 Gram Panchayats, including Patlander, Rangar and Chauri. The government said the infrastructure will address rising electricity demand while reducing transmission losses through shorter power lines and interconnected feeders.Read more

GMR Airports Ltd has announced a phased modernisation and expansion plan for Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport in Nagpur, beginning with an initial investment of INR 300 crore.
