UAE-based BNW Developments has announced plans to develop around 10,000 homes across Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah over the next four years, with Indian investors playing an increasingly significant role in its business. Indian buyers contributed 14.38% of the developer's total business during the first half of 2026, making India one of its largest overseas markets. The expansion strategy was outlined at the company's Global Partners Meet in Delhi NCR, attended by over 2,000 channel partners and real estate professionals. A consortium led by Swiss-Japanese waste management company Kanadevia Inova plans to begin construction of a USD 1.5 billion waste-to-energy plant in Casablanca later this year, with full operations expected by mid-2030. The project, developed in partnership with Morocco's Nareva and Japan's Itochu, aims to process around 1.5 million metric tons of waste annually while generating 115 megawatts of electricity.
