Signed in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, the partnership will focus on heat mitigation, drought resilience, flood preparedness, water security and climate-responsive urban planning. Navi Mumbai civic body conducts large-scale water quality inspection drive across city after complaints

• Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation conducted a special water quality inspection drive after complaints regarding drinking water quality in certain parts of the city.
• A total of 663 water samples were collected and tested across water treatment facilities, transmission pipelines and multiple residential nodes.
• The inspection covered Bhokarpada Water Treatment Centre, major water mains and areas including Belapur, Nerul, Vashi, Airoli and Digha.
• Water samples were tested for pH, TDS, residual chlorine and turbidity as per BIS IS 10500 standards and CPHEEO guidelines.

APCRDA honours Amaravati capital farmer Chintala Sriramamurthy
