The Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) has received close to 800 applications for 465 industrial plots across Rajasthan under its Direct Allotment Scheme-2025. The plots, spread over around 294 acres and valued at nearly INR 550 crore, were offered to investors associated with the Rising Rajasthan investment summit. Industrial zones in Jodhpur, Ajmer, Alwar and near the Pachpadra refinery witnessed strong demand. RIICO has also revised its land allotment policy for underutilised industrial areas by offering plots at lower rates to attract industries, manufacturing units and MSME investments across the state.Read more

The issue surfaced after an online encumbrance certificate check revealed discrepancies in ownership records. • The Haryana Cabinet has approved a revised project cost of INR 10,266.54 crore for the Gurugram Metro Rail project connecting Millennium City Centre and Cyber City in Gurugram.

• Haryana has approved supplementary reports for Rapid Metro integration and decided to seek World Bank funding for the project’s full soft loan component following delays in funding confirmation from the European Investment Bank.
