The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has begun landscaping and plantation work along the Mumbai Coastal Road project, with plans to plant nearly 60,000 trees across reclaimed open spaces over the next two years. The BJP-led Mahayuti alliance in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has proposed one underground parking facility in each of Mumbai’s 27 wards as part of its congestion management plan. Airports Economic Regulatory Authority has fixed a User Development Fee (UDF) of INR 620 for departing domestic passengers and INR 1,225 for international passengers at Navi Mumbai International Airport. The scope includes Ground Penetration Radar-based mapping of underground pipelines, sewer networks, power cables, telecom ducts and other utility infrastructure along the proposed corridor. The selected consultant will prepare utility maps, AutoCAD drawings, survey reports and stakeholder reference data within a one-month timeline.
