The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has completed a key construction milestone on the 13.9-km Elevated Eastern Freeway Extension (EFE) by successfully installing two 59-metre-long main trusses of a segment launcher over the Eastern Express Highway. The operation, completed within a four-hour traffic block, marks the beginning of the superstructure construction phase.
