A Mumbai sessions court has granted anticipatory bail to businessman Lokesh Jain, a partner at M/s Bhumika Transport, in connection with the alleged INR 65 crore Mithi river desilting scam. The court observed that police had not arrested Jain despite the case being registered in May 2025, and noted that the documents in question had already been seized from officials of the BMC's Storm Water Drains department.
