Realty firm The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL) has sold 1,419 apartments worth around INR 640 crore in the first phase of its housing project The Great Western in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, highlighting strong demand for affordable homes. Developed in partnership with Mittal Builders at Naigaon, the project attracted over 8,800 applications, far exceeding available units. One-bedroom homes were priced at INR 32.9 lakh and two-bedroom units at INR 49.9 lakh. The company conducted the entire booking and allotment process online and plans to launch the second phase in February.Read more

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has said that several long-pending infrastructure and energy projects in the state are now being completed in a time-bound and effective manner through the IT-based PRAGATI monitoring platform. He highlighted that projects such as the modernisation of the Bhilai Steel Plant and the NTPC Lara Super Thermal Power Project have gained renewed momentum due to real-time tracking, inter-agency coordination and continuous reviews under PRAGATI. According to the Chief Minister, the platform reflects a result-oriented governance approach and has strengthened energy security, industrial growth and employment generation in Chhattisgarh.Read more

NTPC has commissioned close to 14 MW of solar capacity at its Khavda project in Gujarat through a step-down subsidiary, lifting the group's total installed and commercial capacity to 85,637 MW. The 13.98 MW addition is part of the larger 1,255 MW Khavda-I Solar PV Project being developed under the CPSU Scheme Phase-II, Tranche-III. Executed by NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd, a subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Ltd, the project adds momentum to NTPC's ongoing expansion in utility-scale renewable energy.Read more

The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet approved a world-class township at Shitalpur near the Chandigarh border, transferring about 3,400 bigha of land to the housing department. It also amended state RERA rules to improve transparency and dispute resolution. Healthcare capacity was strengthened through new nursing and medical faculty posts, while a multidisciplinary university was cleared in Bilaspur under a public-private model. Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd has commissioned a 1 GW solar power project for SJVN, with capacity allocated to utilities in Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, and Uttarakhand. The domestically manufactured, DCR-compliant project is expected to generate over 2,454 million units of green power in its first year and offset nearly 1.74 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions. All solar modules were produced at TP Solar's Tirunelveli facility. The commissioning has raised TPREL's total utility-scale renewable capacity to 11.6 GW.Read more

Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) has announced the leasing of commercial spaces at three Aqua Line stations Sector 81, Sector 83, and Depot to enhance non-fare revenue. Units range from 26 sqm to 315 sqm and can be used for diverse commercial purposes, except those restricted by NMRC. The 15-year lease applications are due by early January. Aqua Line currently serves nearly 69,000 passengers daily. NMRC is also advancing network expansions and a pedestrian skywalk between Sector 51 and Sector 52 stations to improve connectivity in the Noida-Greater Noida region.Read more

L&T has secured a major contract for the second phase of the Hyderabad Greenfield Radial Road in Ranga Reddy district, classified as a significant order valued between INR 1,000 crore and INR 2,500 crore. The 22.3 km, six-lane access-controlled road will connect Hyderabad's outer ring road to the proposed 340 km regional ring road, improving access to IT hubs and the electronic city. The project includes a 3.6 km viaduct, bridges, underpasses, service roads, drainage, footpaths, cycle tracks, and landscaping, reinforcing Lamp's role in boosting Telangana's regional connectivity and economic growth.Read more

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is set to e-auction more than 150 plots and sites across Delhi as part of its land monetisation drive to strengthen revenue. The offerings include residential, commercial, industrial, institutional and group housing plots, along with kiosks, shops, food courts and the Caf Bamboo Oasis at Baansera. The auction process was announced recently, with registrations already open. Bidders are required to complete e-registration and submit earnest money deposits before the deadline, after which the detailed auction schedule will be released.Read more
