Delhi Police's Crime Branch has busted an organised property fraud syndicate that duped a woman of INR 12.04 crore through a fake sale of a luxury apartment at DLF Camellias in Gurugram. Five accused have been arrested for using forged bank auction documents to falsely claim ownership of the property. Investigations revealed that the defrauded amount was routed through multiple bank accounts to conceal transactions. State-owned NBCC has reached a settlement with the Delhi government to resolve a long-pending land dispute, under which it will receive a 21.23-acre land parcel in Ghitorni, south Delhi. The land forms part of a larger 42.46-acre site that will be equally divided between NBCC and the state government. NBCC plans to develop a mixed-use real estate project on its share, with estimated revenue of around INR 8,500 crore. As part of the settlement, the company will pay a total of INR 220 crore to the Delhi government, including land premium, interest and arrears of ground rent. The National Company Law Tribunal has approved a resolution plan submitted by Ambuja Housing and Urban Infrastructure Company Ltd to take over and complete the long-stalled Usshar residential project at Batanagar near Kolkata. The Punjab and Haryana High Court has ruled in favour of land oustees, holding that the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) cannot demand current reserve prices for residential plots when allotment delays were caused by the authority itself. The court found that applicants who responded to a 2018 notice and waited several years for allotment cannot be burdened with sharply increased 2025-26 rates. Godrej Properties Limited (GPL) has accused its Ahmedabad-based joint venture partner, Siddhi Group, of misappropriating INR 58 crore in a township project in Gujarat.
