The Delhi Development Authority has announced a new residential plot auction for 118 plots in Sector D6, Vasant Kunj, a premium south Delhi locality developed by the agency in 2010. The move is part of a larger initiative to upgrade internal infrastructure and resolve long-standing parking issues. A specialised agency will be hired to demarcate plots and revamp roads, stormwater drains, and pipelines. Additionally, surface parking will be constructed for around 1,904 flats across four blocks. Bollywood actor Jeetendra Kapoor and daughter Ekta Kapoor have sold their apartment in Mumbai's Omkar 1973 Worli project for INR 12.25 crore, or about INR 57,000 per square foot. The 2,149 sq ft flat includes two parking spaces and was officially registered on June 8, 2025. The Kapoors had bought it in 2017 for INR 11.52 crore. Omkar 1973 is a luxury residential project that has faced legal hurdles, including a stay order on new flat sales due to pending rent disputes with displaced residents. Around 100 homebuyers at RG Luxury Homes in Greater Noida West finally received their property registries during a special on-site registration camp held over the past few days. The housing project, originally launched in 2010, had come to a halt in 2016 due to financial distress and was admitted to the NCLT in 2019. It was revived in 2020 through a rare reverse insolvency resolution process, allowing the original promoter to resume work under the court-appointed insolvency professional. More than 1,400 flats across seven towers have now been issued occupancy certificates, and the remaining two towers are nearing completion.Read more

Housing sales in Delhi-NCR rose 16% year-on-year this quarter, crossing 11,700 units, according to PropEquity. The surge was driven by strong luxury housing demand and new project launches, especially in Ghaziabad and Greater Noida. JP Morgan has signed a 10-year lease for 1.16 lakh sq. ft. of office space in a newly built tower at Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), developed by Sumitomo's Goisu Realty. The deal, valued at INR 6.91 crore in monthly rent with 15% escalations every three years, includes a INR 62.23 crore security deposit. The new space, spanning two floors, will serve as the bank's front office from October 2026. BKC, a key BFSI hub, continues to attract top firms-Tesla also recently leased showroom space nearby.
