JSW Infrastructure has raised INR 7,503 crore through a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP), comprising a primary issue of INR 6,555 crore and a promoter offer-for-sale. The capital will fund the company's INR 39,000 crore multi-year capital expenditure programme, strengthen its institutional investor base and support compliance with minimum public shareholding norms. Delhi extends 10% property tax rebate deadline to July 31

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has extended the deadline for property owners to avail a 10% rebate on lump-sum property tax payments for the 2026–27 financial year until July 31. The concession was previously available for payments made by June 30. The civic body said the extension aims to give more taxpayers an opportunity to benefit from the rebate, particularly those who were unable to make payments within the original timeframe. Household debt rises to 45.5% of GDP as non-housing retail loans drive borrowings: RBI

India's household debt rose to 45.5% of the country's gross domestic product (GDP) as of March 2026, driven primarily by growth in non-housing retail loans, according to the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) latest Financial Stability Report (FSR). Non-housing retail loans accounted for 58.4% of total household borrowings, continuing to outpace housing, agriculture and business loans. While household leverage has increased beyond its five-year average, the RBI noted an improvement in borrower quality, with a larger share of credit held by prime-rated borrowers. Bengaluru housing sales remain resilient as premium launches drive market activity

Mumbai property registrations rise 16% in June to highest level in 14 years
