Synopsis

IPO-bound Prism, the parent company of OYO, reported a more than four-fold increase in net profit to INR 994 crore for FY26, supported by higher business volumes, a stronger contribution from premium and company-serviced hotels and the full-year performance of G6 Hospitality. Consolidated revenue from operations rose 49.7% to INR 9,358 crore, while EBITDA more than doubled to INR 2,594 crore. Gross Booking Value increased 88.5% to INR 30,683 crore. However, the reported profit included a deferred-tax credit of INR 678 crore. The company also plans to use a major portion of its proposed IPO proceeds to reduce debt.

Prism reported net profit of INR 994 crore for FY26, compared with INR 245 crore in FY25. The company’s annual report showed that the latest profit included a deferred-tax credit of INR 678 crore.
Consolidated revenue from operations increased 49.7% to INR 9,358 crore, while EBITDA more than doubled to INR 2,594 crore from INR 1,084 crore in the previous financial year. Gross profit also rose 82.5% to INR 5,700 crore.
The company paid INR 1,414 crore in interest on its outstanding loans during the year. Prism plans to use a major portion of the proceeds from its proposed initial public offering to reduce its debt burden. It is seeking to raise up to INR 6,650 crore through a fresh issue of equity shares, according to its Updated Draft Red Herring Prospectus filed with Sebi in June.
Gross Booking Value increased 88.5% during FY26 to INR 30,683 crore from INR 16,279 crore in FY25. The company attributed the improvement to higher business volumes, a stronger mix of premium and company-serviced hotels, operating leverage across markets and the full-year contribution from US-based G6 Hospitality.
G6 Hospitality, which became part of OYO following its acquisition in December 2024, made its first full-year contribution to Prism’s results. It generated GBV of INR 14,107 crore in FY26, compared with INR 3,529 crore in FY25, and added 70 net storefronts during the year.
Prism said around 67% of room nights during FY26 were booked through non-commissionable channels, including the OYO app and other direct channels. The company said its app was the eighth most downloaded hotel accommodation booking application globally.
The company also completed the integration of G6 Hospitality’s technology platform into its unified system within a year of the acquisition. It replaced the legacy systems with a common technology platform and introduced AI-based pricing and service tools at individual properties, while owner engagement was centralised from India.
Prism Chairman Ritesh Agarwal said the company’s fourth consecutive year of positive EBITDA was supported by a stronger business mix, operating leverage, disciplined capital allocation and the integration of its international businesses. He also said acquisitions would remain selective and focused on opportunities where Prism’s brands, technology and distribution could improve the acquired business.
The company is also developing what Agarwal described as a GM Agent, an autonomous technology layer intended to manage day-to-day hotel operations, including reconciliation, vendor renewals, occupancy-related activities and review action plans. The system is aimed at allowing hotel teams to spend more time on guest-related activities while routine operational work is handled through technology.
