Ceigall India gets INR 704.70 crore order for Arunachal Pradesh highway

Synopsis

Ceigall India has received Letters of Acceptance from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways to construct a key section of the Lada-Sarli highway in Arunachal Pradesh for a contract value of INR 704.70 crore, excluding GST. The project will be executed through a joint venture with Sushee Infra & Mining Ltd, with Ceigall India holding a 74% stake and SIML holding the remaining 26%. The work covers an 82.4-km stretch of NH-913, also known as the Frontier Highway, and will be developed on an Engineering, Procurement and Construction basis.

Ceigall India said it has received Letters of Acceptance from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways for construction of a section of the Lada-Sarli highway in Arunachal Pradesh at a contract value of INR 704.70 crore, excluding GST. 
The project will be executed jointly with Sushee Infra & Mining Ltd (SIML). Ceigall India will hold a 74% share in the joint venture, while SIML will hold the remaining 26%. 
The project involves construction of the Lada-Sarli section of NH-913, also known as the Frontier Highway, from km 85.60 to km 168.00. The 82.4-km stretch will be developed to intermediate lane standards under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode. 
The construction period for the project is 48 months, followed by a five-year maintenance period. The project is part of the development of the Frontier Highway network in Arunachal Pradesh and is aimed at improving road connectivity in the region. 
Ceigall India Managing Director Ramneek Sehgal said the company was pleased to receive the Letter of Acceptance from the road ministry for the section, which is part of the Frontier Highway in Arunachal Pradesh. 
Ceigall India is an infrastructure engineering, procurement and construction company involved in the development of highways, expressways, bridges, flyovers, railway overbridges, tunnels and runways.
