Synopsis

Realty firm Elan Group has partnered with Marriott International to manage an upcoming JW Marriott Hotel Gurugram and JW Marriott Residences at its 50-acre township in Sector 106, Dwarka Expressway, Gurugram. Elan will handle construction and development, while Marriott Hotels India will manage both the hotel and residences upon completion. Sales for the branded residences will begin after RERA registration is secured. The tie-up adds to a growing list of Delhi-NCR developers entering the branded homes segment.

Realty firm Elan Group has tied up with Marriott International for the management of its upcoming hotel as well as residential towers at its 50-acre township project in Gurugram. In a statement issued on Monday, the company said it will build a JW Marriott Hotel Gurugram and JW Marriott Residences at Sector 106, Dwarka Expressway, Gurugram.
According to the statement, the construction and development of both the hotel and the residences will be undertaken by Elan Group, while sales and marketing activities for the branded residences will commence only after the requisite registrations are obtained from the Real Estate Regulatory Authority. Once completed, Marriott Hotels India Pvt Ltd will take over management of both the hotel and the residential towers. Elan Group did not disclose the number of keys planned for the hotel or the total number of units to be developed under the JW Marriott-branded residential towers.
Ravish Kapoor, Managing Director of Elan Group, said the decision to bring the JW Marriott brand to the company's flagship development was driven by the objective of giving customers and homeowners access to what he described as impeccable hospitality, intuitive service and world-class amenities. Rajeev Menon, President for Asia Pacific, excluding China, at Marriott International, said the company continued to expand in one of the world's most dynamic luxury markets, adding that the licensing and management collaboration with Elan Group reflected a shared commitment to creating a destination embodying the elegance, service standards and experiences associated with the JW Marriott brand globally.
The hotel and branded residences form part of Elan Group's broader 50-acre integrated township coming up in Sector 106 along the Dwarka Expressway, a corridor that has seen significant residential and commercial development activity in recent years owing to its connectivity to Delhi and Indira Gandhi International Airport. The township is understood to also include Elan's existing residential and commercial developments in the same location, positioning the JW Marriott-branded components as part of a wider mixed-use destination combining hospitality, residences and commercial space on a single campus.
Elan Group's overall portfolio comprises 15 developments across Delhi-NCR, with a total built-up area of approximately 25 million square feet. The company has been among the more active developers in the region's high-end residential and commercial segments in recent years, including large-format commercial and mixed-use projects along the Dwarka Expressway corridor.
The Elan-Marriott tie-up reflects a broader trend within Delhi-NCR's real estate market, where several developers have entered the branded residences segment to tap rising demand from affluent buyers. Companies including M3M Group, Signature Global, Whiteland Corporation, Gulshan Group and Dalcore have similarly entered into partnerships with hospitality and lifestyle brands in recent years, as branded homes continue to gain traction among high-net-worth buyers seeking hotel-style services and global brand assurance attached to their residences.
