Singer Shantanu ‘Shaan’ Mukherjee and his wife Radhika Mukherjee have purchased three luxury apartments in Bandra West for a combined consideration of INR 47.64 crore, creating a 6,267.87 sq ft residence at the Palmera residential project on Turner Road. The transaction was registered on 20 August and includes nine car parking spaces.
The apartments are located on the 18th floor of the 22-storey tower and were acquired from NVK Realty LLP, according to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix. Each of the three units was purchased for INR 15.88 crore, while the transaction attracted a combined stamp duty of INR 2.70 crore.
The three apartments have been brought together to create the larger residence, covering approximately one-and-a-half floors. Two of the units are interconnected, while the third remains an independent apartment, according to details reported by Mumbai Mirror. The transaction was brokered by Propbay India LLP.
The property is part of Palmera, located at the junction of Turner Road and St Martin’s Road in Bandra West. The development is a 22-storey residential tower with 32 residences, according to details reported by Bollywood Hungama. The project stands on the site of a former bungalow associated with veteran actor Mala Sinha.
The development includes a range of residential and lifestyle amenities. Reported facilities include a swimming pool, sky deck, gymnasium, Pilates and yoga studios, meditation rooms, spa, salon vanity room, business meeting room, banquet hall, game room, library, card room, children’s play area, pet zone, electric vehicle charging facilities and valet services.
The purchase also continues Shaan’s longstanding association with Bandra. His late father, musician Manas Mukherjee, had also lived in the suburb, giving the acquisition a family connection to the neighbourhood.
The acquisition comes against sustained activity in Mumbai’s luxury residential market. The city recorded 1,499 luxury property registrations worth INR 14,903 crore between April and June 2026, according to the Lighthouse Luxury Quarterly Luxury Real Estate Report cited by Mumbai Mirror. The report, based on verified Maharashtra stamp duty and registration data, indicated that homes priced at INR 5 crore and above were registering around 16 transactions a day during the quarter.
For Shaan and his family, the transaction consolidates three apartments into a large residential configuration in one of Bandra West’s established luxury residential locations, adding another high-value celebrity transaction to Mumbai’s premium housing market.
