Empower India has announced its entry into India’s growing data centre market, which is projected to exceed USD 22 billion by 2030. The company plans to offer sustainable digital infrastructure solutions by combining its existing capabilities in IT infrastructure integration and data centre management with the renewable energy expertise of its subsidiary, Empower Energy Private Limited. Its proposed offerings will include customised Green Data Server and Data Centre solutions, energy-efficient digital operations and intelligent infrastructure management. The move comes as demand for data centre capacity continues to rise with the expansion of AI, cloud computing, enterprise digitisation and data localisation.
Empower India has announced its foray into India’s data centre sector with plans to offer sustainable digital infrastructure solutions. The company said the initiative will build on its existing capabilities in IT infrastructure integration and data centre management, while also using the renewable energy expertise of its subsidiary, Empower Energy Private Limited.
The technology infrastructure and digital management solutions provider plans to develop customised Green Data Server and Data Centre offerings. These solutions are expected to include tailored server and infrastructure configurations, energy-efficient digital operations and intelligent infrastructure management.
Empower India said the initiative will allow it to participate in India’s expanding data centre industry, which is projected to exceed USD 22 billion by 2030. The market is being supported by the growing adoption of Artificial Intelligence, cloud computing and enterprise digitisation, along with increasing requirements for data localisation.
Rajesh Chavan, Managing Director of Empower India, said the company’s entry into the sector brings together its technology infrastructure capabilities and the renewable energy expertise available through Empower Energy. He added that the expansion is aimed at addressing the infrastructure requirements emerging from India’s growing digital economy.
