The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) held a Grama Sabha in Yerrabalem as part of the planning work for Amaravati’s Village Circulation Plan and Village Integration Plan. The meeting focused on the proposed road network, connectivity and integration of existing village roads with the planned infrastructure. Officials explained how the road network would be aligned with Land Pooling Scheme (LPS) zones and outlined infrastructure requirements for the village’s future growth. Surveys are also being conducted to document existing roads and their connections. Residents shared suggestions, which APCRDA said would be considered in the planning process.
The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) conducted a Grama Sabha in Yerrabalem earlier this week to discuss the proposed Village Circulation Plan and Village Integration Plan under the Amaravati Master Plan.
The meeting was held to explain the proposed road network and connectivity plans to residents and seek their views on the planned development of the village’s road infrastructure.
Officials from the APCRDA Planning Department explained the main provisions of the Amaravati Master Plan, along with the Village Circulation Plan and Village Integration Plan. They outlined how the existing roads in Yerrabalem are proposed to be integrated with the planned road network based on the different Land Pooling Scheme (LPS) zones.
The officials also presented details of the proposed village road network and related infrastructure that is being planned to address future requirements. The integration of existing roads with the wider network is intended to improve connectivity between different parts of the village and link them with the planned infrastructure under Amaravati.
As part of the planning exercise, APCRDA is conducting surveys to gather detailed information on the existing road network and its connectivity within Yerrabalem. The Village Road Circulation Pattern Survey is being carried out to understand the existing circulation pattern, while the LPS Road Network Survey is assessing the road network and its linkages within the LPS areas.
The information collected through these surveys will be used in preparing the Village Circulation Plan and Village Integration Plan. It will also help officials assess existing road conditions and connections while planning infrastructure according to the future requirements of the village.
Residents who attended the Grama Sabha put forward their suggestions and views on the proposed road and integration plans. APCRDA officials said the feedback received during the meeting would be examined and taken into consideration while finalising the Village Circulation Plan and Village Integration Plan for Yerrabalem.
