Every time a package arrives at your doorstep within a day, it has likely travelled through a network you never see. Behind supermarkets stocked with fresh produce, factories receiving raw materials and e-commerce deliveries reaching millions of homes lies an invisible infrastructure that keeps India's economy moving. That infrastructure is now being rebuilt on an unprecedented scale. 
Instead of isolated warehouses scattered across cities, India is investing in integrated logistics parks—vast campuses where rail, road and sometimes air freight converge in a single location. These developments are designed to shorten delivery times, lower logistics costs and support the country's ambition of becoming a global manufacturing and export hub. Across states, cranes are rising over thousands of acres, creating facilities that will move far more than goods—they will move the Indian economy itself. 
1. Jogighopa Multimodal Logistics Park, Assam 
On the banks of the Brahmaputra, one of eastern India's most ambitious logistics projects is quietly taking shape. The Jogighopa Multimodal Logistics Park has been planned to connect road, rail and inland waterways, making it one of the country's few truly multimodal freight hubs. 
According to the National Highways Logistics Management Limited (NHLML) and the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, the project is expected to become the logistics gateway for Northeast India while also improving trade with neighbouring Bhutan and Bangladesh. Its strategic location could significantly reduce freight costs for industries operating across the region. 
2. Nagpur Multimodal Logistics Park, Maharashtra 
Located almost at the geographical centre of India, Nagpur has long been called the country's logistics capital. The upcoming Multimodal Logistics Park aims to turn that reputation into reality. 
Being developed near major national highways and railway corridors, the project will serve as a central distribution hub connecting northern, southern, eastern and western India. Government planning documents highlight its role in reducing transportation time while strengthening central India's manufacturing and warehousing ecosystem. 
3. Chennai Multimodal Logistics Park, Tamil Nadu 
Every major port needs an efficient inland logistics system, and Chennai's upcoming logistics park is designed to fulfil exactly that role. Positioned close to Chennai Port, Ennore Port and key industrial corridors, the project will support automobile manufacturing, electronics exports and container movement. 
According to NHLML, the park will integrate warehousing, container handling and freight operations, improving cargo efficiency across southern India. 
4. Bengaluru Integrated Logistics Park, Karnataka 
As Bengaluru grows into one of Asia's largest technology and manufacturing centres, its logistics infrastructure is expanding just as rapidly. Large integrated logistics parks on the city's outskirts are being developed to support e-commerce, electronics manufacturing and industrial supply chains. 
Industry reports from CBRE and JLL India note that Bengaluru continues to witness one of India's strongest demand pipelines for Grade-A warehousing due to rapid commercial expansion. 
5. Delhi NCR Logistics Hub 
The National Capital Region has become one of India's busiest freight corridors. Massive logistics developments across Luhari, Sohna, Bhiwadi and adjoining regions are reshaping how goods enter and leave northern India. 
Driven by the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, Western Dedicated Freight Corridor and expanding industrial zones, these facilities are expected to improve connectivity for manufacturers, retailers and e-commerce companies alike. 
6. Indore Multimodal Logistics Park, Madhya Pradesh 
Situated in the heart of the country, Indore's logistics ambitions have grown alongside its manufacturing sector. The proposed logistics park is expected to strengthen freight movement between western and central India. 
Planning updates from NHLML indicate the facility will include modern warehousing, freight terminals and integrated transport infrastructure aimed at improving supply chain efficiency for industries across Madhya Pradesh. 
7. Hyderabad Logistics Parks Cluster, Telangana 
Hyderabad's western growth corridor is no longer driven solely by technology companies. Large logistics parks around Patancheru, Shamshabad and the Outer Ring Road are emerging as key distribution centres for pharmaceuticals, consumer goods and e-commerce. 
Industry research by Knight Frank India identifies Hyderabad as one of India's fastest-growing warehousing markets due to expanding industrial activity and strategic connectivity. 
8. Dadri Logistics Hub, Uttar Pradesh 
Few places demonstrate India's freight ambitions quite like Dadri. Positioned along the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor, the region is rapidly developing into one of North India's most important logistics destinations. 
Its rail connectivity, proximity to Delhi-NCR and integration with industrial corridors make it an attractive location for large-scale warehousing and distribution facilities supporting both domestic and export markets. 
9. Sanand Logistics Cluster, Gujarat 
Known primarily for automobile manufacturing, Sanand is now strengthening its logistics capabilities as well. Warehousing developments supporting manufacturing, exports and industrial freight continue expanding across the region. 
Supported by Gujarat's industrial policies and strong highway connectivity, the logistics ecosystem around Sanand is expected to play an increasingly important role in western India's supply chain network. 
10. Mumbai Metropolitan Region Logistics Parks 
India's financial capital is also becoming one of its largest logistics markets. New logistics parks across Bhiwandi, Panvel and Navi Mumbai are being developed to support ports, manufacturing and one of the country's busiest consumer markets. 
According to Anarock, CBRE and JLL India, the completion of the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, Navi Mumbai International Airport and expanding expressway network is expected to further strengthen the region's logistics ecosystem over the coming years. 
India's next infrastructure revolution may not be defined by skyscrapers or airports alone. It is also being built inside sprawling logistics parks where trucks, freight trains and warehouses work together to keep the economy moving. As manufacturing expands, e-commerce grows and exports increase, these projects will become the unseen engines connecting factories, farms, ports and consumers. They may not appear on most travel itineraries, but in the coming decade, these logistics parks are likely to become some of the most important destinations in India's economic journey.
