The deals also highlight continued activity in Mumbai's premium property market.
Actor Madhuri Dixit and her husband, Dr Shriram Nene, have sold two properties in Mumbai's Andheri West and Juhu localities for a combined consideration of INR 9.25 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix. The transactions comprise a commercial office in Andheri West and a residential apartment in Juhu.
The commercial office, located in Andheri West, was sold for INR 4.85 crore. The couple had purchased the property nearly 18 years ago for around INR 52.5 lakh, resulting in an appreciation of more than eight times the original purchase value. The transaction highlights the long-term value growth witnessed in Mumbai's commercial real estate market, particularly in established business districts such as Andheri West.
The second transaction involved the sale of a residential apartment in Juhu for INR 4.40 crore. The apartment, measuring around 106.68 square metres (approximately 1,148 square feet), was acquired by the couple in 2012 for about INR 1.94 crore. The sale represents an appreciation of around 127% over nearly 14 years. Registration documents show that the transaction attracted applicable stamp duty and registration charges.
Both transactions were recorded in official property registration records and analysed by real estate data analytics platform CRE Matrix. The deals reflect continued demand for premium residential and commercial properties in Mumbai despite changing market conditions. Areas such as Juhu remain among the city's most sought-after residential locations due to their established social infrastructure, while Andheri West continues to attract businesses because of its commercial ecosystem and connectivity.
The latest sales add to the couple's recent real estate transactions in Mumbai. In late 2025, Madhuri Dixit and Dr Shriram Nene had sold another apartment in the same Juhu locality for around INR 3.90 crore, indicating continued portfolio realignment over the past year.
