The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) has approved 10 new real estate projects across five districts with a combined estimated investment of INR 1,412.55 crore. The projects, which include residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, are expected to create 1,632 residential and commercial units across the state.
The approvals were granted during the authority's 207th meeting chaired by UP RERA Chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy.
Among all the districts, Ghaziabad attracted the highest investment. According to UP RERA, the newly approved projects are expected to support planned urban development, increase construction activity and generate employment during the development phase. The projects are also likely to create additional demand for construction materials, transport, engineering services and other allied industries.
The authority stated that it has been working to strengthen transparency, accountability and timely execution in the state's real estate sector. Sanjay Bhoosreddy said UP RERA has been ensuring faster project approvals along with effective monitoring, creating a more reliable environment for both homebuyers and developers.
UP RERA was established under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, to regulate the real estate sector, improve transparency and protect the interests of homebuyers. The authority has consistently emphasised timely project registration, regulatory compliance and dispute resolution to improve confidence in the state's property market.
Bhoosreddy further said the authority will continue to ensure strict compliance with the provisions of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act while safeguarding consumer interests and supporting balanced and orderly growth of the real estate sector.
