Synopsis

Legal professionals Maneck N. Mulla, Ameet B. Naik and Neil Mandevia have formed MNM Partners, a strategic legal alliance bringing together expertise across real estate, infrastructure, dispute resolution, family office advisory, trusts, succession planning and white-collar crime. While each founder will continue to independently lead their existing law firms, the new partnership aims to provide integrated legal services to corporates, developers, investors, financial institutions, family offices and high-net-worth individuals in India and overseas. The alliance also intends to expand into a broader multidisciplinary legal platform as its practice evolves.

Three senior legal practitioners—Maneck N. Mulla, Founder and Managing Partner of M Mulla Associates; Ameet B. Naik, Founder and Managing Partner of Naik Naik & Co.; and Neil Mandevia, Founder of Law Scribes—have announced the launch of MNM Partners, a strategic alliance that brings together their respective legal practices while allowing each firm to continue operating independently.
The newly formed partnership has been established to provide integrated legal advisory services across real estate, infrastructure, dispute resolution, family office advisory, trusts, succession planning and white-collar crime. According to the founders, the alliance seeks to combine specialist expertise across complementary practice areas while broadening the scope of services offered to clients.
Collectively bringing more than 25 years of professional experience each, the three founders have built established legal practices serving corporates, developers, financial institutions, investors and high-net-worth individuals.
Maneck N. Mulla began his legal career with Mulla & Mulla & Craigie Blunt & Caroe before joining Wakharia & Wakharia Advocates & Solicitors, affiliated with Kelley Drye & Warren LLP, New York. He established M Mulla Associates in 2010, which advises Fortune 500 companies, family offices and high-net-worth individuals. He also serves on the India Country Focus Group of the International Cotton Association, Liverpool, and has previously been an examiner for the Bombay Incorporated Law Society's articled clerks examination.
Ameet B. Naik, a fourth-generation lawyer, founded Naik Naik & Co. in 2004. His practice focuses on commercial litigation and dispute resolution, with representation spanning domestic and international courts on complex commercial matters involving corporates, promoters and business groups.
Neil Mandevia established Law Scribes as a boutique legal practice specialising in real estate transactions, conveyancing, development projects and strategic real estate litigation. His practice advises developers, investors and businesses on high-value real estate and infrastructure transactions across multiple stages of project execution.
Under the new structure, MNM Partners has been constituted as an equal partnership, combining the founders' individual expertise to offer integrated legal solutions for corporates, real estate developers, investors, financial institutions, family offices and high-net-worth individuals in both domestic and international markets.
The founders said the alliance is based on the belief that combining specialised expertise with collaborative legal practice enables the delivery of more comprehensive solutions than individual practices working independently. They added that the partnership is intended to evolve into a broader multidisciplinary legal institution over time while preserving the strengths of each founder's existing practice.
They further stated that the alliance has been formed to provide clients with access to a wider range of legal capabilities without altering the independent identity of their respective firms.
The founders also clarified that Anand and Naik, the joint venture between Naik Naik & Co. and Anand and Anand established in 2021 for media, entertainment and intellectual property practice in Mumbai, will continue to operate independently and remains outside the scope of the new alliance.
The formation of MNM Partners was advised and facilitated by Legal League Consulting through its Founder and Managing Director, Bithika Anand, and Chief Executive Officer, Nipun K. Bhatia.
