Synopsis

Park Group of Hospitals has expanded its presence in north India by launching The Medicity Hospital in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand. The 330-bed multi-super speciality facility is the group's first hospital in the state and is being positioned as the largest hospital in the Kumaon region. The expansion increases the group's presence to six states and aims to improve access to advanced tertiary and quaternary healthcare services in an underserved market. The hospital is equipped with modern medical infrastructure, specialised clinical departments and an experienced team of doctors to meet the region's growing healthcare needs.

Park Group of Hospitals has entered the Uttarakhand healthcare market with the launch of The Medicity Hospital in Rudrapur, a 330-bed multi-super speciality facility. According to the company, the hospital is the largest healthcare facility in the Kumaon region and marks its first operational presence in the state.
With the addition of the Rudrapur hospital, Park Group of Hospitals has expanded its network across six states in north India. The company said the new facility strengthens its healthcare footprint while increasing bed capacity in a region where access to advanced medical services has remained limited.
The hospital has been equipped with multi-disciplinary clinical departments, modern medical infrastructure and a team of specialists from leading medical institutions. It is expected to provide tertiary and quaternary healthcare services to patients across the Kumaon region, reducing the need for people to travel to larger cities for specialised treatment.
The company stated that the expansion is part of its long-term strategy to build an integrated multi-state hospital network with a stronger regional presence. It also expects the new facility to improve referral linkages across its hospitals while supporting sustainable long-term growth.
Speaking on the launch, Dr. Ankit Gupta, Managing Director of Park Medi World Limited, said the opening of The Medicity Hospital in Rudrapur marks an important step in the group's expansion plans across north India. He added that the hospital has been developed as a comprehensive healthcare destination for the Kumaon region, which continues to have significant unmet demand for advanced medical services.
He further said the new hospital is expected to address the increasing need for specialised tertiary and quaternary care in the region while supporting higher patient volumes and more complex treatments as healthcare demand continues to grow.
Park Group of Hospitals has been steadily expanding its network across north India in recent years through investments in multi-speciality healthcare facilities. The group has focused on increasing access to advanced medical care in emerging cities and underserved regions where demand for quality healthcare infrastructure continues to rise.
