Ospree Duty Free has expanded its airport retail network with the opening of duty-free stores at Navi Mumbai International Airport across both the Departure and Arrival terminals. The new outlets offer a range of imported spirits, luxury fragrances, fashion, cosmetics, electronics, watches and confectionery, catering to domestic and international travellers. The launch strengthens the company's footprint in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), where it now operates at two airports. The expansion forms part of Ospree Duty Free's broader growth strategy across India's airport network, as it continues to increase its presence in major aviation hubs and enhance travel retail offerings.
Ospree Duty Free has opened its latest duty-free retail outlets at Navi Mumbai International Airport, expanding its presence in India's airport retail sector. The new stores, located across both the Departure and Arrival terminals, offer travellers access to a wide range of international products, including imported spirits, luxury perfumes, fashion, cosmetics, electronics, watches and confectionery.
According to the company, the outlets have been designed to cater to changing traveller preferences by bringing together globally recognised brands, duty-free pricing and a comprehensive shopping experience within the airport. In addition to its established range of premium spirits, the new stores place significant emphasis on fashion, beauty products, fragrances, electronics and watches.
The launch marks Ospree Duty Free's latest expansion within India's airport network and strengthens its presence in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). With the addition of Navi Mumbai International Airport, the company now operates duty-free stores at two airports serving the Mumbai region, further expanding its retail footprint in one of the country's busiest aviation markets.
Gaurav Singh, Chief Executive Officer of Ospree Duty Free, said the opening of the Navi Mumbai International Airport outlets represented another milestone in the company's expansion strategy across India. He added that the retailer remained focused on offering travellers a curated portfolio of premium international brands spanning fashion, beauty, fragrances, electronics and other travel retail categories, while enhancing the overall duty-free shopping experience.
Ospree Duty Free, formerly known as Mumbai Duty Free, operates under Mumbai Travel Retail Limited and has established a presence at several airports across the country. In addition to its stores in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, the retailer operates at airports in Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mangaluru and Thiruvananthapuram. The company is also preparing to open a new outlet at Guwahati Airport as part of its continuing expansion plans.
The opening reflects the continued growth of commercial retail infrastructure at airports as operators seek to enhance passenger services and diversify non-aeronautical revenue streams. The expansion of organised duty-free retail is expected to complement increasing passenger traffic and the development of new airport infrastructure, particularly in high-growth metropolitan regions such as MMR.
