Aurionpro Solutions has secured an additional INR 50 crore contract from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) to expand the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system on Mumbai Metro Line 5. Aurionpro Solutions has received an additional INR 50 crore order from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) to expand the deployment of its Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system for Mumbai Metro Line 5. The contract represents a further extension of the company's existing engagement with the metro corridor and underscores the growing emphasis on advanced digital infrastructure as Mumbai continues to expand its urban rail network.
The latest order covers the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of additional AFC equipment required for the metro project. The expanded scope will enable the integration of ticketing, fare validation and passenger access systems across more stations, ensuring seamless travel experiences for commuters when the corridor becomes operational.
