91Springboard has appointed Pawan Hegde as Director – Sales and Sachin Khopde as Head – Finance, strengthening its leadership team as the company expands from a coworking operator into a broader workspace solutions platform. The appointments, announced on Wednesday, are aimed at supporting the company’s enterprise business, financial management and organisational capabilities as it expands its workspace offerings across India.
The company has expanded its portfolio in recent years to include ready-to-use offices, managed workspaces and enterprise solutions, serving startups, micro, small and medium enterprises, Global Capability Centres and large enterprises. With the business increasing in scale and operational complexity, 91Springboard said strengthening its organisational structure was becoming an important part of its expansion.
Hegde joins the company with more than 19 years of experience in the flexible workspace and managed offices sector. He has held leadership positions at workspace operators including Regus, Upflex and COWRKS, where his experience has covered enterprise sales, business development and client acquisition. At 91Springboard, he will oversee the enterprise sales strategy, with responsibility for developing customer relationships and addressing changing workplace requirements.
Khopde brings more than 18 years of experience across finance, governance and business strategy. A Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, he has previously held leadership positions at PwC, Reliance Industries, Metro Cash and Carry India and JioMart. His remit at 91Springboard will include financial planning, governance and business transformation as the company scales its operations.
According to CEO Anshu Sarin, the appointments form part of the company’s effort to strengthen its organisational capabilities alongside its transition into a comprehensive workspace platform. Sarin said Hegde and Khopde would bring complementary experience in enterprise sales, financial governance and business transformation, supporting the development of a scalable and operationally robust organisation.
91Springboard currently operates 46 hubs across nine cities — Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Goa, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Noida and Pune. Its network comprises around 37,000 seats spread across approximately 1.9 million sq. ft. of workspace.
The company’s expansion has also broadened the range of occupiers it serves, moving beyond the traditional coworking segment towards enterprise-oriented workplace requirements. The strengthening of sales and finance leadership comes as the operator seeks to build capabilities across commercial and financial functions while maintaining its existing workspace network.
The appointments are therefore focused on two core areas of the company’s current expansion: developing its enterprise customer base and strengthening the financial and governance systems supporting its operations. 91Springboard said the changes would support consistent customer delivery and long-term business growth as it continues to expand its workspace platform.
