Supreme Infrastructure looks to expand building and housing projects

Synopsis

Supreme Infrastructure India Limited is looking to expand its building construction and housing activities, using its experience in engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), commercial buildings and institutional projects. The company has identified RCC frame structures and building projects as key areas for its next phase, alongside its wider infrastructure business. Its partnership with Brookfield for a Global Capability Centre in Powai is among the projects highlighting this capability. The company is also looking at opportunities in housing, redevelopment and urban development, with land assets and construction experience forming part of its approach to building a larger real estate pipeline.

Supreme Infrastructure India Limited is looking to strengthen its presence in building construction and housing, while continuing with its wider infrastructure business. The company is focusing on RCC frame structures and building projects where it has an established execution track record.
Supreme Infra has previously delivered commercial buildings, institutional structures and projects for government agencies. Its experience in engineering, project management and construction is expected to support its plans to take on larger and more complex building projects.
The company has executed projects including Supreme Business Park in Powai and has worked with various government and institutional clients. Its construction capabilities cover areas such as excavation, piling, structural work and project management.
Managing Director Vikram Sharma said Mumbai's real estate market is increasingly moving towards integrated development, combining residential, commercial and social infrastructure. He said the company's four decades of construction and infrastructure experience, along with its land assets in established locations, provide an understanding of developing such projects.
Supreme Infra had announced a partnership with Brookfield in December 2025 for the development of a Global Capability Centre in Powai. The project is spread across around six acres and is planned to have approximately 2 million square feet of office space. It is expected to attract investment of more than USD 1 billion and generate employment in the region.
The Brookfield project is among the developments through which the company is deploying its construction capabilities in large-scale commercial real estate. Its presence in Powai also provides an established base in one of Mumbai's key commercial and residential locations.
Housing is another area being considered by Supreme Infra. The company sees opportunities in residential development as well as redevelopment and urban regeneration, particularly in Mumbai where limited land availability and the redevelopment of older properties continue to shape new construction.
Sharma said the company sees scope to use its construction experience in housing while continuing to participate in commercial development. He added that the Brookfield partnership has provided validation of its capabilities, while the broader objective is to build a sustainable real estate platform over the long term.
Supreme Infra's EPC capabilities extend across roads, bridges, railways, water, power and buildings. The company said recent project wins and a strengthening order book are creating opportunities to deploy these capabilities across its new project pipeline.
For the company, building projects and housing provide an opportunity to use its existing construction experience while expanding its real estate activities alongside its core infrastructure operations.
