TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks plans to invest INR 1,000 crore in upcoming industrial and logistics projects across Tamil Nadu. The company has signed an initial agreement with the state government as part of the VETTRI Tamil Nadu Investment Conclave 2026. The investment is expected to create around 1,500 jobs and add to the state's industrial and logistics infrastructure. Tamil Nadu is already an important market for TVS ILP, with 10 industrial and logistics parks operating across the state and serving companies in sectors including e-commerce, automobiles, FMCG and FMCD.
TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks (TVS ILP) plans to invest INR 1,000 crore in upcoming projects across Tamil Nadu, as the warehousing developer looks to expand its presence in one of the country's key industrial markets.
The company has signed an initial pact with the Tamil Nadu government for the proposed investment at the VETTRI Tamil Nadu Investment Conclave 2026. The investment is expected to create around 1,500 job opportunities and strengthen industrial and logistics infrastructure supporting businesses and supply chains across the state.
Tamil Nadu's expanding industrial activity is driving demand for modern industrial and warehousing facilities in locations that can support businesses as they expand their operations. The state is also targeting a USD 1.5 trillion economy by 2036, increasing the need for Grade-A industrial and logistics infrastructure across emerging growth centres.
Tamil Nadu is already a key market for TVS ILP, with the company having 10 industrial and logistics parks in the state. These facilities serve companies across e-commerce, automobiles, FMCG and FMCD.
TVS ILP Joint Managing Director Ramnath Subramaniam said the INR 1,000-crore investment reflects the opportunities emerging across Tamil Nadu and the company's intention to support businesses expanding their operations in the state. He added that the company would continue developing industrial and logistics assets in line with the changing requirements of occupiers and global standards.
The investment is part of TVS ILP's broader expansion across high-growth industrial markets. The company said its projects are intended to support new industrial capacity and improve supply-chain efficiency as businesses expand across Tamil Nadu.
