Skyline Builders Group Holding has acquired two gold and silver mineral properties in Nevada as it expands beyond its existing construction-focused business. The acquisitions include the early-stage Mill Creek gold exploration project and the past-producing Irwin gold and silver property. Mill Creek covers about 720 acres across 36 mining claims, while Irwin has recorded historical assays of up to 7.5 grams of gold and 96 grams of silver per tonne. The acquisitions come ahead of Skyline’s planned business combination with Cove Kaz Resources, which is focused on tungsten and critical mineral projects in Kazakhstan.
Skyline Builders Group Holding has completed the acquisition of two gold and silver mineral properties in Nevada, expanding its portfolio into precious metals as it prepares for a planned business combination with Cove Kaz Resources.
The two properties are the Mill Creek Project and the Irwin Project. Mill Creek is an early-stage gold exploration project acquired from Paramount Gold and consists of 36 contiguous lode mining claims covering approximately 720 acres. It is located in the northwestern part of the Shoshone Range, about 33 kilometres south of Battle Mountain.
The Irwin Project is a past-producing property comprising 12 claims and contains historic high-grade gold and silver mineralisation. Historical assays from the property have recorded grades of up to 7.5 grams of gold per tonne and 96 grams of silver per tonne. Mineralised veins extend up to 70 metres along strike, with additional veins and historic workings providing scope for further exploration.
The acquisitions were completed for USD 100,000 for Mill Creek and USD 36,000 for the Irwin Mine, according to a regulatory filing.
Skyline plans to carry out initial exploration work at the properties, including geological mapping, soil and geochemical sampling, geophysical surveys and remote sensing. The work is intended to help identify potential targets for future drilling. Both properties remain at an early exploration stage, and the company has not announced any mineral resource estimate for them.
The acquisitions also come as Skyline moves towards its proposed merger with Cove Kaz Resources, which the company expects to complete by the end of 2026 or early 2027. Cove Kaz is developing tungsten and other critical mineral projects in Kazakhstan, while the Nevada properties give Skyline exposure to gold and silver.
Skyline Builders Group Holding is incorporated in the Cayman Islands and has historically operated through subsidiaries involved in public civil engineering works in Hong Kong, particularly road and drainage projects. Its move into Nevada mineral properties represents a broader shift in the company's asset portfolio.
Nevada was ranked the world's most attractive mining jurisdiction in the Fraser Institute's 2025 survey, released in February 2026, placing it ahead of 67 other jurisdictions. The state has a long-established mining industry and remains one of the major gold-producing regions in the United States.
The two acquisitions therefore give Skyline an entry into a well-established mining market while its proposed combination with Cove Kaz could further increase its exposure to the minerals sector. The immediate focus, however, will be on exploration and determining whether the
