Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (KPIL) has secured new orders and notifications of awards worth approximately INR 3,526 crore across its domestic businesses. The latest contracts cover an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) order for an industrial plant, power transmission and distribution (T&D) projects, and residential building orders. With these additions, KPIL’s year-to-date order intake for FY27 has crossed INR 11,000 crore. The company has continued to add orders across its infrastructure businesses, including T&D, buildings and factories, water, railways and urban infrastructure, supporting a diversified order pipeline.
Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (KPIL) has secured new orders and notifications of awards worth approximately INR 3,526 crore across multiple business segments in the domestic market. The latest order wins include an EPC contract for an industrial plant, along with projects in power transmission and distribution and residential buildings.
The company said the new contracts have taken its year-to-date order intake for FY27 beyond INR 11,000 crore. The latest additions cover both infrastructure and building-related work, giving the company fresh orders across different parts of its domestic business.
KPIL Managing Director and CEO Manish Mohnot said the company has seen strong order momentum in its T&D and buildings and factories (B&F) businesses. He noted that the latest wins include a major domestic T&D order, which further strengthens the company’s presence in the Indian transmission and distribution market.
The B&F business has also secured an EPC order for an industrial plant from an Indian client. In addition, the company has received repeat orders for residential building projects from developers. Mohnot said these additions would contribute to the company’s future growth.
The latest order announcement follows a series of sizeable wins secured by KPIL during the current financial year. In the past few months, the company and its international subsidiaries had secured orders worth approximately INR 2,957 crore across T&D, B&F and water businesses. The order package included T&D projects in India and overseas markets, B&F orders in India and a water project in the Middle East secured through a joint venture or consortium.
KPIL had also announced orders worth approximately INR 2,002 crore earlier in the financial year across international power T&D markets in the Middle East and the Nordic region, domestic B&F projects and a metro rail order under its railways business. The company has therefore continued to build its order pipeline through contracts spread across both infrastructure and construction-related segments.
KPIL operates across power transmission and distribution, buildings and factories, water supply and treatment, railways, oil and gas infrastructure, urban mobility, highways and airports. Its annual report states that the T&D business remained its largest contributor, accounting for around 46% of consolidated revenue and 44% of the consolidated order book in FY26. T&D revenue increased from INR 10,026 crore in FY25 to INR 12,501 crore in FY26.
For FY26, KPIL reported consolidated revenue of INR 27,143 crore, net profit of INR 1,031 crore and an order book of INR 65,457 crore as of the end of March 2026. The company was executing projects in more than 25 countries and had a wider presence across more than 75 countries in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, the Americas and Europe.
The continued flow of orders across T&D, industrial projects and residential buildings gives KPIL a broader mix of projects entering FY27. The company’s order additions also come as it continues to operate across several infrastructure segments rather than relying on a single business vertical.
