Cosmic Solar EPC Private Limited has secured three solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) project orders worth a combined INR 574 crore and commenced operations from a new corporate office in Mumbai as part of its expansion across India, the company said on Thursday.
The company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cosmic PV Power Limited, said the new orders had strengthened its project pipeline. The fresh order book comprises solar EPC projects valued at INR 574 crore, although the company did not disclose the individual values, locations or execution timelines of the three projects.
Cosmic Solar EPC has also started operations from its corporate office at Chembur, Mumbai. The company said the office would serve as a strategic base for business development, customer engagement, project management and partnerships across western and central India.
The Mumbai office complements Cosmic Solar EPC’s registered office in Surat, Gujarat. The company said the additional location would strengthen its regional presence and support engagement with customers and other stakeholders.
Avi Mittal has been appointed chief executive officer of Cosmic Solar EPC with effect from August 2026. The company said he would oversee its next phase of growth, with responsibilities covering operational efficiency, technology adoption, strategic partnerships and delivery of solar energy solutions.
Mittal has experience across renewable energy, infrastructure, manufacturing and strategic investments. He completed his graduation in the United Kingdom and pursued business studies in Switzerland, according to the company.
Commenting on his appointment and the company’s latest developments, Mittal said the new Mumbai office and INR 574 crore order addition reflected customer and partner confidence in Cosmic Solar EPC. He said the company would focus on technology-driven solar solutions while expanding its presence across India.
The company said the new orders would add to its project portfolio and reflect demand for its engineering and execution capabilities. Cosmic Group provides end-to-end solar solutions covering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and operations and maintenance.
Cosmic Solar EPC provides rooftop solar EPC services for commercial and industrial customers as well as residential projects. The company said it has delivered multiple solar installations across India and is continuing to expand its operations in the renewable energy sector.
Its parent company, Cosmic PV Power Limited, has also received Consent to Establish for a solar cell manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh and has commenced construction of a 1.1 GW solar cell manufacturing line. The development is intended to increase backward integration within the group and strengthen its manufacturing and supply-chain capabilities.
According to the company, the manufacturing facility is expected to provide access to domestically manufactured solar cells and energy storage solutions for Cosmic Solar EPC. It said this could support the EPC business by strengthening integration between its manufacturing and project execution activities.
