Synopsis

SafeStorage has completed 11 years of operations with annual recurring revenue (ARR) of approximately INR 50 crore, as the technology-enabled self-storage and warehousing company expands across India and international markets. Founded in Bengaluru in 2015, the company has grown from a single warehouse to a managed storage network spanning more than 6 lakh sq. ft. across 16 Indian cities, with operations also in the UAE and the UK. SafeStorage plans to add around 50,000 sq. ft. of storage capacity across Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Coimbatore and Dubai. The expansion comes as households and businesses increasingly seek professionally managed storage solutions driven by relocation, space constraints and changing operational requirements.

SafeStorage has reached approximately INR 50 crore in annual recurring revenue as it completes 11 years of operations, expanding its technology-enabled self-storage and warehousing business across 16 Indian cities as well as international markets in the UAE and the UK.
Founded in Bengaluru in 2015, the company has expanded from a single-city operation into a managed storage network covering more than 6 lakh sq. ft. of storage space. Its customer base includes households, professionals, businesses and enterprises seeking flexible and professionally managed storage solutions.
SafeStorage is planning to add approximately 50,000 sq. ft. of storage capacity across five markets as part of its ongoing expansion.
The planned additions include 10,000 sq. ft. in Delhi, 15,000 sq. ft. in Mumbai, 10,000 sq. ft. in Pune, 10,000 sq. ft. in Coimbatore and 5,000 sq. ft. in Dubai.
The expansion will increase the company's capacity across both domestic and international markets and support its growing customer base.
Ramesh Madisetty, Co-founder and CEO, SafeStorage, said that reaching INR 50 crore in ARR after completing 11 years marked an important milestone for the company. He said the business had grown from its first warehouse in Bengaluru to serving customers across 16 Indian cities, the UAE and the UK.
According to Madisetty, the company's growth reflects increasing acceptance of organised storage and customer confidence in professionally managed storage services.
SafeStorage's expansion comes amid increasing demand for secure, organised and flexible storage options from both households and businesses.
Changing household requirements, relocation, limited residential space and evolving business needs are contributing to demand for professionally managed storage facilities. For businesses, structured storage can provide an alternative to maintaining additional space solely for inventory, equipment or other assets.
For households, self-storage can provide additional space during relocation, renovation or periods when belongings need to be stored outside the home.
The emergence of organised storage operators is consequently adding another segment to India's broader warehousing and real estate ecosystem, particularly in large urban markets where space constraints can make conventional storage options less practical.
In addition to its presence across India, SafeStorage operates in the UAE and the UK. The company's planned 5,000 sq. ft. expansion in Dubai will further strengthen its international footprint.
Its existing network of more than 6 lakh sq. ft. provides the company with a growing operational base across its domestic and overseas markets.
As organised storage adoption increases, the company is focusing on expanding infrastructure and operational capabilities alongside its geographic footprint.
SafeStorage's 11-year milestone comes as the self-storage segment develops alongside changing residential and business requirements. Increasing urbanisation, space constraints and mobility among households and businesses are creating demand for storage models that offer flexibility without requiring customers to maintain additional premises.
With operations across 16 Indian cities, the UAE and the UK, SafeStorage is continuing to expand its managed storage network. The planned addition of 50,000 sq. ft. across five markets will increase its capacity and support its next phase of geographic expansion.
