#Builders & Projects#India
Synopsis

K Raheja Corp has launched ‘Ekta Ki Dhun’, a musical film marking Independence Day and celebrating unity across its diverse businesses. The film features a stomp band rendition of ‘Vande Mataram’, bringing together employees, customers, partners and labourers from five businesses — Mindspace REIT, K Raheja Corp Homes, Chalet Hotels, Inorbit Malls and Shoppers Stop. Everyday objects and materials from construction sites, offices, homes, hotels, malls and retail stores have been used as instruments to create the musical composition. The initiative marks the fourth consecutive year that K Raheja Corp has used an original musical film for its Independence Day communication, following ‘Pragati Ki Dhun’, ‘Azadi Ki Dhun’ and ‘Desh Ki Dhun’. The film was conceptualised by the Group’s Corporate Communications team, composed by music director Sanket Sane and directed by filmmaker Alok Sutar.

K Raheja Corp has launched ‘Ekta Ki Dhun’, an Independence Day musical film that brings together five businesses of the Group through a stomp band rendition of ‘Vande Mataram’. The film features employees, customers, partners and labourers, using everyday elements from construction sites, offices, homes, hotels, malls and retail stores to create a unified musical composition.
The initiative marks the fourth consecutive year of K Raheja Corp’s Independence Day storytelling through original musical films. It follows ‘Pragati Ki Dhun’, ‘Azadi Ki Dhun’ and ‘Desh Ki Dhun’, which were released over the previous three years.
This year’s film focuses on the theme of unity, using different business environments and people across the Group to create a single rhythm. The concept presents the diverse operations of K Raheja Corp as interconnected elements contributing to one collective composition.
The film was shot across Mindspace REIT, K Raheja Corp Homes, Chalet Hotels, Inorbit Malls and Shoppers Stop. Construction materials, workplace essentials, household objects, hospitality equipment, mall fixtures and retail elements were incorporated as instruments for the stomp band performance.
K Raheja Corp employees who are trained musicians also performed live alongside the stomp band. Their live instrumentation was combined with sounds generated from everyday objects to form the final musical arrangement.
Cheryl D'Souza-Waldiya, Vice President and Head – Corporate Communications, K Raheja Corp, said the Group's Independence Day communication was intended to convey its connection with people and places through music. She said this year's film focused on unity and brought together sounds from across the organisation into a single rhythm.
‘Ekta Ki Dhun’ was conceptualised by K Raheja Corp's Corporate Communications team, with music composed by Sanket Sane and direction by filmmaker Alok Sutar.
The musical film is being released across K Raheja Corp's digital platforms as part of its Independence Day communication. Through the latest edition, the Group continues its annual use of music to present its businesses, people and workplaces through a common cultural theme.
