Synopsis

A-1 Ltd has secured orders worth INR 38.70 crore from Solar Group of Industries for the supply of acids and industrial chemicals to Solar Industries and its group entities. The orders are scheduled to be executed over a three-month period ending October 31, 2026, providing revenue visibility across the second and third quarters of FY 2026-27. The order follows an INR 12 crore contract from the same group received in June. A-1 reported a sharp rise in first-quarter revenue and profit, while continuing to operate across chemical trading, distribution and transportation and expanding into electric mobility.

Logistics services provider A-1 Ltd has secured orders worth INR 38.70 crore from Solar Group of Industries for the supply of acids and industrial chemicals to Solar Industries and its group entities.
The company said the entire order is scheduled to be executed during the current financial year, with supplies spread over the three-month period ending October 31, 2026. The execution schedule is expected to provide visibility for A-1's performance across the second and third quarters of FY 2026-27.
The latest order builds on business received from the Solar Group earlier this year. In June, A-1 had secured an INR 12 crore order from Solar Group of Industries for the supply of acids and industrial chemicals. The company has therefore continued to receive orders from the group within its core business of industrial chemical supply.
Solar Industries India is a major player in India's industrial explosives and defence sectors. A-1's supply relationship with the group forms part of its business with large industrial customers that require regular supplies of acids and chemicals.
A-1 also reported a strong increase in its financial performance during the June quarter of FY27. Its consolidated revenue from operations stood at INR 175.01 crore, nearly three times the INR 64.69 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of FY26. Profit After Tax increased to INR 3.16 crore from INR 0.60 crore a year earlier.
The company's first-quarter revenue also increased from INR 145.27 crore in the preceding quarter, while PAT was lower than the INR 4.36 crore recorded in the previous quarter. The acids and chemicals business remained the main contributor to revenue, accounting for INR 171.95 crore in the June quarter, compared with INR 64.79 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.
A-1 operates in the trading, distribution and transportation of industrial acids, chemicals and allied products across India. Its product portfolio includes industrial chemicals such as nitric acid, sulphuric acid, hydrochloric acid, methanol and other chemical products. The company also provides transportation services through its own fleet of tankers and serves customers across several industrial markets.
The company has also been expanding beyond its traditional chemical business. Through its subsidiary A-1 Sureja Industries, it has entered the electric mobility segment, including the supply of electric two-wheelers. The company had also reported plans to expand its tanker fleet as part of its transportation operations.
A-1 had earlier secured a combined INR 35 crore worth of supply orders from Solar Group of Industries, Sai Baba Polymer Technologies and Mahadhan Agritech in June. Those orders covered the supply of acids and industrial chemicals and formed part of the company's core business.
