World of Hyatt has expanded its Asia Pacific partnership with HYROX to include race cities in India, offering race-focused stay packages for athletes and spectators. The collaboration covers upcoming HYROX events in New Delhi and Mumbai and includes exclusive room rates, hotel benefits and recovery amenities at participating Hyatt properties. Hyatt has also partnered with fitness enthusiast Milind Soman to support the initiative. The move comes as HYROX continues to expand its presence in India, where interest in fitness-based sporting events has been growing rapidly over the past few years.
World of Hyatt has expanded its regional partnership with HYROX Asia Pacific to include race destinations in India, allowing athletes and spectators attending HYROX events to access race-focused accommodation packages at participating Hyatt hotels. The hospitality group's loyalty programme will now offer its race-cation experience alongside HYROX events across key Indian cities as the global fitness racing series continues to strengthen its presence in the country.
As part of the collaboration in India, Hyatt has also partnered with actor and fitness enthusiast Milind Soman. The partnership aims to promote fitness, travel and active lifestyles while supporting the growing HYROX community in the country.
HYROX is one of the world's fastest-growing fitness racing competitions, combining eight one-kilometre runs with eight functional workout stations in a standardised race format followed across global events. The inclusion of Indian race destinations marks another step in the regional partnership between Hyatt and HYROX as the competition expands across Asia Pacific.
Participating Hyatt hotels in race cities across India and the Asia Pacific region will offer accommodation close to race venues along with athlete-focused services before, during and after race day. These include special room rates, recovery facilities and other in-hotel benefits designed for participants and spectators travelling for the events.
The current HYROX season includes races in Delhi and Mumbai, giving participants an opportunity to combine their race schedules with short leisure stays at Hyatt properties across the host cities.
Tammy Ng, Vice President of Brand and Marketing, Asia Pacific at Hyatt, said the company believes many HYROX participants travel specifically for races and increasingly combine sporting events with leisure trips. She added that the race-cation programme has been designed to help athletes and spectators extend their stay, recover comfortably and experience the destination beyond race day.
Deepak Raj, Country Head of HYROX India, said India has emerged as one of the fastest-growing communities for the fitness racing series. He noted that the collaboration with World of Hyatt reflects the increasing demand for travel experiences linked with fitness events and gives participants additional reasons to stay longer and explore host cities after completing their races.
Milind Soman said fitness extends beyond the competition itself and includes preparation, recovery and continuous personal growth. He added that the partnership with World of Hyatt enables racers across India to plan an entire race weekend with a stronger focus on both performance and recovery.
Under the programme, eligible guests booking at participating Hyatt hotels can receive an additional 10% discount on Hyatt's Member Rate for selected room categories. The offer also includes 15% savings on select food and beverage services and spa treatments, one complimentary wash-and-fold laundry service during the stay, race-themed in-room welcome amenities, post-race recovery kits and ice buckets on request. Guests will also receive destination guides featuring local recommendations for each race city.
The offer requires a minimum one-night stay and is available at participating hotels from seven days before a race until seven days after the event. Reservations must be made directly through Hyatt, while cancellations are required at least seven days before check-in to avoid a one-night cancellation charge.
Upcoming HYROX races in India include New Delhi from July 24 to July 26, 2026, followed by the Mumbai event from September 17 to September 20, 2026.
Participating hotels in India include Andaz Delhi, Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai, Hyatt Centric Janakpuri, Grand Hyatt Mumbai, Hyatt Regency Delhi, Hyatt Centric Hebbal Bengaluru, Hyatt Centric MG Road Bengaluru, Hyatt Regency Ahmedabad, Grand Hyatt Gurgaon and Hyatt Place Gurgaon.
HYROX has expanded rapidly worldwide over the past few years, attracting professional athletes, fitness enthusiasts and recreational participants through its standardised race format. India has become one of the newer growth markets for the competition, with increasing participation reflecting the broader rise of organised fitness events and sports tourism across the country. At the same time, hotel operators have been introducing travel packages linked to major sporting events as part of efforts to tap into experience-led travel demand.
