CA Immobilien Anlagen AG (CA Immo) has signed another lease agreement for around 1,500 square metres of office space at its CIELO office building in Dusseldorf. The latest transaction comes as the company continues to strengthen occupancy at the premium office asset while advancing its strategy of repositioning the property as a multi-tenant office building. Earlier this year, the company had already secured multiple lease agreements at the same property, reflecting continued demand for quality office spaces in Dusseldorf's central business district despite a challenging commercial real estate market.
CA Immobilien Anlagen AG (CA Immo) has signed another lease agreement covering around 1,500 square metres of office space at its CIELO office building in Dusseldorf, further expanding the property's tenant base. The company disclosed the development in a recent regulatory update but did not reveal the identity of the tenant or financial details of the agreement.
The latest lease follows a series of leasing activities undertaken by CA Immo at the CIELO property over the past few months. Earlier this year, the company announced three lease agreements covering approximately 3,400 square metres, marking an important step in its plan to transform the building from a single-tenant asset into a modern multi-tenant office property.
Located at Kasernenstraße 67 in Dusseldorf's central business district, CIELO offers around 10,400 square metres of rentable office space. The property was acquired by CA Immo in 2022 and underwent extensive modernisation before receiving DGNB Gold certification. The building is known for its flexible office layouts, large rooftop terraces and proximity to Königsallee, one of Dusseldorf's prime commercial locations.
The company's repositioning strategy is aimed at attracting multiple occupiers seeking modern and flexible office space. Previous tenants secured at the building include consulting firm Dr. Wieselhuber & Partner GmbH, NRW.Global Business GmbH and TechHub.K67 gGmbH, indicating continued leasing momentum in the asset.
The latest agreement also reflects continued demand for high-quality office buildings in well-connected business districts, even as companies across Europe remain selective in their office leasing decisions. CA Immo has continued to focus its portfolio on premium office properties across Germany, Austria and Central and Eastern Europe, with leasing activity remaining a key part of its asset management strategy.
