Mumbai-based design consultancy EuMo DesignIntelligence has unveiled a new brand positioning, 'Moving the World Closer to its Ambitions', as it completes more than two decades in business. The company also highlighted the growing role of its spatial design practice, EuMo Spatial, which focuses on architecture, hospitality, residential, commercial and experience-led environments. According to the firm, hospitality design is increasingly shifting towards creating destination-led experiences that integrate architecture, landscape, culture and visitor engagement rather than relying solely on physical infrastructure. The repositioning reflects EuMo's integrated design approach spanning brand, customer, employee and visitor experiences, while reinforcing its presence across the built environment and experiential design sectors.
EuMo DesignIntelligence has announced a new brand positioning, 'Moving the World Closer to its Ambitions', as the Mumbai-based multidisciplinary design consultancy marks more than 20 years of operations and expands the role of its spatial design practice across hospitality, commercial and residential developments.
The company said the repositioning reflects the evolution of its Design Intelligence approach, which integrates brand strategy, customer engagement, workplace design and built environments into a unified framework. As part of this transition, EuMo Spatial has emerged as a dedicated practice focused on architecture, interiors, landscape design, wayfinding and experience-led environments.
According to the company, the hospitality sector is witnessing a shift in development priorities, with developers and operators placing greater emphasis on creating destination-led experiences rather than relying solely on accommodation, architecture or amenities. EuMo Spatial said successful hospitality projects increasingly combine local context, cultural identity, landscape planning and visitor journeys to establish a stronger sense of place.
The firm's portfolio includes work on The Ultimate Travelling Camp's Sawai Shivir in Ranthambore, a luxury tented hospitality project that received recognition among India's Best Design Projects 2025. The project also earned a Global Design Award 2025, reflecting the firm's experience in hospitality and experiential destination design.
Gary Grewal, Co-Founder and Director of EuMo, said projects increasingly begin with a broader business or experiential objective rather than a conventional architectural or interior design brief. He noted that the firm's approach seeks to integrate every design discipline around a single user experience, from master planning through to detailed design, instead of treating individual design elements separately.
Founded in 2005, EuMo DesignIntelligence has expanded its practice to encompass four integrated disciplines—Brand Experience (BX), Customer Experience (CX), Employee Experience (EX) and Visitor Experience (VX). The company said this framework enables organisations to create consistent experiences across physical spaces, digital platforms and customer interactions, covering areas such as brand strategy, immersive experience centres, workplace design and destination development.
Shanoo Bhatia, Co-Founder and Creative Director of EuMo, said the company's new positioning reflects its belief that design should address an organisation's broader ambitions rather than only responding to individual project briefs. She added that the objective is to use design as a strategic tool to align business goals with customer experiences, workplace environments and brand perception.
The company also highlighted the continued expansion of initiatives such as EuMo Spatial, EuMo Expresso, The Bold Advantage and Amazng, which extend its Design Intelligence approach beyond traditional consultancy services into entrepreneurship, innovation and thought leadership.
Over the past two decades, EuMo's work has received more than 20 national and international recognitions, including the Global Design Awards, India's Best Design Awards, ReBrand 100 Global Awards, Kyoorius, Transform Asia, Lexus Design Award India, Designomics and Wolda. The firm's recent accolades include two Global Design Awards 2025 and recognition at India's Best Design Projects 2025 for its work on Sawai Shivir in Ranthambore.
