Lodha Developers Ltd has set a target of achieving a 20% increase in net profit to INR 4,100 crore in FY27 after reporting its highest-ever quarterly earnings for the April–June period. The Mumbai-based developer posted a twofold rise in net profit to INR 1,373.1 crore, supported by higher revenue, improved margins and sustained housing demand. The company has already achieved one-third of its full-year profit guidance in the first quarter. It also reported growth in residential sales bookings and reiterated its confidence in long-term expansion, backed by strong demand for branded housing, low leverage and plans to enter the Delhi-NCR residential market during the current financial year.
Lodha Developers Ltd is targeting a 20% increase in net profit to INR 4,100 crore in FY27, following a record financial performance in the first quarter, driven by sustained demand for residential properties, improved profitability and continued execution across its housing portfolio.
According to the company's latest investor presentation, the Mumbai-based real estate developer reported its highest-ever quarterly profit during the April–June quarter of FY27. Net profit doubled year-on-year to INR 1,373.1 crore from INR 675 crore in the corresponding period last year, while total income increased to INR 5,096.7 crore from INR 3,624.7 crore.
The company said it has already achieved 33% of its full-year profit guidance of INR 4,100 crore within the first quarter of FY27. Profit after tax (PAT) margin also improved significantly to 26.9% during the quarter, compared with 18.6% in the same period of the previous financial year.
For the full FY26 financial year, Lodha Developers reported a net profit of INR 3,430.7 crore on a total income of INR 17,119.5 crore. The investor presentation also highlighted that the company's net profit has increased more than sixfold over the past five financial years, rising from around INR 500 crore in FY21 to more than INR 3,400 crore in FY26.
Managing Director Abhishek Lodha said the company had maintained the strong momentum established during FY26. He stated that growth in earnings, alongside rising profitability, higher return on equity and low leverage, continued to distinguish the company within the sector.
He further said that favourable structural demand for housing and accelerating consolidation towards established developers had strengthened the company's confidence in delivering a long-term compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 20% in profits.
Commenting on future growth opportunities, Lodha noted that the company's market share within its target segment stands at around 3.5%, indicating considerable scope for expansion over the medium to long term.
On the operational front, Lodha Developers reported residential sales bookings, or pre-sales, of INR 4,630 crore during the April–June quarter, representing a 4% year-on-year increase.
The developer currently operates across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Pune and Bengaluru, with residential developments forming its core business. During the current financial year, the company also plans to enter the Delhi-NCR housing market with the launch of its first residential project in the region.
In addition to residential developments, Lodha Developers has a diversified real estate portfolio comprising commercial office projects, shopping malls, warehousing and industrial parks, as well as data centres.
