Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a series of development projects worth approximately INR 574 crore in Bulandshahr, marking another step in the state's efforts to expand public infrastructure and improve civic amenities across western Uttar Pradesh.
The package comprises both newly inaugurated works and projects whose foundation stones were laid during the Chief Minister's visit. Together, they cover multiple sectors, including road connectivity, education, public infrastructure, drinking water supply and urban development, with the objective of improving essential services and supporting the district's long-term growth.
Addressing a public gathering, Adityanath said sustained investment in infrastructure is central to the state's development strategy. He noted that improved roads, better civic facilities and stronger public institutions are essential for creating economic opportunities, attracting investment and enhancing the quality of life for residents.
The Chief Minister also distributed benefits under various state welfare schemes to eligible beneficiaries, highlighting the government's efforts to combine infrastructure development with social welfare initiatives. Officials said the projects are expected to strengthen public services while creating better connectivity between urban and rural areas of the district.
Several of the projects are aimed at upgrading local infrastructure to meet growing demand arising from urbanisation and economic activity. Improved transport links, public utilities and educational facilities are expected to support both residential development and commercial growth in the region.
During his visit, Adityanath also interacted with students at an educational institution, where he emphasised the importance of discipline, skill development and quality education in building a capable workforce. He said investment in education and human capital complements the state's broader infrastructure and industrial development agenda.
The Chief Minister further reiterated that infrastructure expansion and effective governance go hand in hand in promoting economic progress. He said maintaining a secure and stable environment remains important for encouraging business activity and ensuring that development initiatives deliver long-term benefits.
The latest investment package adds to the ongoing infrastructure programmes being implemented across Uttar Pradesh, where the government has prioritised roads, urban infrastructure, public utilities and social infrastructure as key drivers of economic growth. Officials expect the projects launched in Bulandshahr to improve connectivity, strengthen public services and support the district's future development trajectory.
