Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd reported a nearly 69% year-on-year increase in its consolidated net profit for the June quarter, supported by higher revenue during the period.
According to a regulatory filing released earlier this week, the company's consolidated net profit rose to INR 468.84 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared with INR 278.13 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
The company's total income also witnessed growth during the quarter. It increased to INR 1,806.49 crore, up from INR 1,630.88 crore reported in the same period a year ago, reflecting improved earnings across its business operations.
Jaiprakash Power Ventures, a part of the Jaypee Group, operates a portfolio of thermal and hydroelectric power generation assets. Over the past few years, the company has continued to focus on improving operational efficiency, strengthening cash flows and enhancing financial performance while operating in India's evolving power sector.
The latest quarterly results indicate continued revenue growth and stronger profitability compared with the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
