Mumbai-based real estate developer Oberoi Realty reported a 29 per cent year-on-year increase in its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended June, reflecting higher earnings and improved income during the first quarter of the current financial year. 
According to a regulatory filing made in the past week, the company's consolidated net profit rose to INR 543.51 crore during the April-June quarter, compared to INR 421.25 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year. 
The company's total income also increased to INR 1,361.69 crore in the first quarter of FY27 from INR 1,073.98 crore reported in the same period a year ago. 
Oberoi Realty is among India's leading listed real estate developers, with a strong presence in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). The company has developed premium residential, commercial, retail and hospitality projects and continues to expand its portfolio through ongoing and upcoming developments across key locations in Mumbai. 
The company's financial performance comes at a time when demand for premium and luxury residential properties in Mumbai has remained resilient. Over the past few quarters, several listed real estate developers have reported healthy sales and earnings, supported by sustained homebuyer demand, higher property values and continued execution of ongoing projects.
