Loom Solar has reported annual turnover exceeding INR 1,000 crore, marking a significant milestone for the Faridabad-based solar manufacturer founded in 2018. The company said the achievement reflects growth driven by domestic manufacturing, product innovation and an expanding distribution network across India. Loom Solar currently manufactures solar modules, hybrid inverters and battery energy storage systems and plans to scale its production capacity to 1.2 GW for solar panels and 1 GW for inverters by the end of 2026. With more than one lakh customers served and a network comprising 15,000 channel partners and 500 distributors, the company is targeting installation of solar and energy storage systems in over one million homes by 2030, aligning its expansion plans with the country's growing rooftop solar and clean energy ambitions.
Loom Solar has crossed INR 1,000 crore in annual turnover, reaching a major business milestone less than eight years after commencing operations and signalling continued growth in India's domestic solar manufacturing sector.
Founded in 2018, the Faridabad-based company said the achievement reflects its focus on local manufacturing, product development and expansion of its distribution network across urban and rural markets. The company began operations with the objective of addressing energy access challenges in smaller towns and rural areas and has since expanded into residential, commercial and utility-scale solar segments.
According to Loom Solar, its product portfolio now includes high-efficiency solar modules, battery energy storage systems and hybrid inverters manufactured in India. The company's offerings include SHARK bifacial solar modules, TOPCon and HJT technologies, CAML battery energy storage systems and FUSION hybrid inverters.
Amod Anand, Co-Founder and Director of Loom Solar, said the company was established at a time when solar adoption remained limited to select urban centres and government-led projects. He noted that limited awareness, underdeveloped distribution networks and inadequate access to reliable energy in rural India created an opportunity for the company to build a wider solar ecosystem.
The company stated that growth has been supported by investments in manufacturing capacity, technology development and market reach. Loom Solar currently operates integrated manufacturing facilities for photovoltaic modules, inverters and energy storage products, with certifications including ALMM, BIS, IEC and ISO standards.
As part of its expansion plans, the company is targeting manufacturing capacity of 1.2 GW for solar modules and 1 GW for inverters by the end of calendar year 2026. It currently employs more than 300 professionals across its operations.
Loom Solar has also built a nationwide distribution network comprising over 15,000 channel partners and 500 distributors. Its logistics infrastructure includes six regional warehouses located in Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Lucknow and Faridabad. The company said it exports products to 11 countries and has continued to strengthen its presence in international markets.
The firm noted that technological innovation has remained a central element of its business strategy, with investments focused on advancing solar panel efficiency, energy storage systems and integrated power solutions. Company executives said the evolution of its product portfolio has mirrored the broader development of India's solar industry, which has expanded from project-led deployment to wider consumer adoption.
Looking ahead, Loom Solar has outlined an ambitious growth strategy centred on residential solar adoption. The company aims to install solar modules and battery energy storage systems in more than one million homes by 2030.
The target aligns with government initiatives such as the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and PM-KUSUM programme, both of which seek to accelerate renewable energy adoption across residential and agricultural sectors. Having already served more than one lakh customers, Loom Solar plans to expand its service network and product offerings to meet increasing demand for distributed solar energy solutions across India.
