Synopsis

Sterling Accuris has launched Accuris Express, a home diagnostic sample collection service that promises priority sample collection within 30 minutes across Ahmedabad. The service, introduced in the past week, allows users to book eligible diagnostic tests through the company’s website and mobile application and receive home visits from trained phlebotomists. Initially available in select locations across Ahmedabad, the offering is expected to be expanded across Gujarat in phases. The launch comes amid growing demand for on-demand healthcare services and reflects changing consumer expectations around convenience, speed and doorstep delivery. Sterling Accuris said the initiative is aimed at improving access to diagnostic testing while maintaining established standards of clinical accuracy, safety and hygiene.

Sterling Accuris has launched Accuris Express, a priority home diagnostic sample collection service in Ahmedabad that enables eligible users to receive sample collection within 30 minutes of booking a test. The service was introduced in the past week as part of the company’s efforts to improve accessibility and convenience in diagnostic healthcare services.
Initially available in selected parts of Ahmedabad, Accuris Express allows consumers to schedule diagnostic tests through the Sterling Accuris website or mobile application and receive home visits from trained phlebotomists. The company stated that the service will be rolled out gradually across additional locations in Ahmedabad before expanding to other cities across Gujarat.
The launch comes as consumer demand for home-based healthcare and on-demand services continues to increase. Industries ranging from retail to healthcare have witnessed rising expectations for faster delivery and doorstep services, prompting healthcare providers to explore new ways of improving patient access to diagnostics and testing.
According to Sterling Accuris, diagnostic services have traditionally operated with broader collection schedules and longer waiting periods. The company said the new offering has been designed to address these challenges by providing quicker home sample collection while reducing the need for patients to travel to laboratories or wait for extended periods.
The service is intended to support a variety of healthcare requirements, including routine preventive health checks, urgent diagnostic needs and testing linked to emerging health concerns. The company noted that elderly individuals, caregivers, families with young children and working professionals could particularly benefit from the convenience of home-based sample collection.
An early user of the service, Ahmedabad resident Vishal Mehta, described the experience as quick, dependable and convenient. He compared the service to rapid-delivery platforms operating in other consumer sectors and expressed interest in seeing the model extended to additional cities across Gujarat.
Ankush Gupta, Chief Executive Officer of Sterling Accuris, said the company had identified a gap between changing consumer expectations and the conventional diagnostic experience. He stated that while consumers can access several products and services within minutes, diagnostic testing often requires significantly longer waiting periods. Gupta added that Accuris Express had been developed to provide faster and simpler access to diagnostic testing while maintaining clinical reliability.
Rajiv Sharma, Managing Director of Sterling Accuris, said the service was designed to reduce the time between identifying a health concern and undergoing diagnostic testing. He noted that although rapid service delivery distinguishes the offering, the organisation’s focus on clinical accuracy, quality standards and patient safety remains unchanged.
Established in 2015, Sterling Accuris operates more than 90 processing laboratories and over 300 collection centres across Gujarat. The company offers a diagnostic portfolio comprising more than 2,000 tests. Through the launch of Accuris Express, Sterling Accuris is expanding its service delivery model as convenience, accessibility and responsiveness become increasingly important factors in healthcare utilisation.
