Synopsis

Interio, the furniture business of Godrej Enterprises Group, reported revenue of INR 4,000 crore in FY26, registering a 12% year-on-year increase driven by retail expansion, new product launches and growth in online sales. The company expanded into 100 new cities during the year, while products introduced recently contributed 22% of overall revenue. Looking ahead, Interio is targeting 25% revenue growth in FY27 and plans to add 102 stores, with a particular focus on North and East India. The company also expanded its delivery network to more than 20,000 pin codes, entered the outdoor furniture segment and launched a dedicated gaming furniture range as part of its portfolio diversification strategy.

Interio, the furniture division of Godrej Enterprises Group, recorded revenue of INR 4,000 crore in FY26, reflecting a 12% increase over the previous financial year. The company attributed the growth to geographic expansion, product innovation, strengthening of its digital channels and broader market penetration across India.
According to the company, Interio expanded its presence into 100 new cities during FY26. New product introductions accounted for 22% of total business during the year, highlighting the contribution of innovation and category expansion to overall revenue growth.
Building on this performance, the company has set a target of achieving 25% revenue growth in FY27. The planned expansion strategy includes increasing its retail footprint, deepening market penetration, expanding online sales channels and introducing additional furniture categories.
As part of its retail growth plans, Interio intends to open 102 new stores during FY27. The company said the expansion will focus primarily on strengthening its presence in North and East India, where it sees opportunities for further market development.
Swapneel Nagarkar, Business Head and Executive Vice President of Interio, said the Indian furniture market is undergoing a shift as consumers increasingly seek products that combine design, adaptability, technology integration and enhanced living experiences. He noted that purchasing decisions are moving beyond basic functionality as lifestyles and housing preferences continue to evolve.
The company cited industry estimates indicating that the Indian furniture market is expected to reach USD 45.52 billion by 2031, creating opportunities for organised players to expand their market share.
Interio also reported significant growth in its digital business. The company stated that its e-commerce operations have expanded fourteen-fold over the past three years and now contribute 15% of overall furniture sales. Online channels have become an increasingly important component of its sales strategy as consumers continue to adopt digital purchasing platforms.
During FY26, the company expanded its delivery and installation network from 1,200 pin codes to more than 20,000 pin codes across the country. It also introduced 24-hour delivery and installation services in all state capitals as part of efforts to improve customer experience and service responsiveness.
In terms of product diversification, Interio entered the outdoor furniture segment through the launch of its Tubular Range. The company also introduced a dedicated gaming furniture category aimed at catering to evolving consumer preferences and recreational needs.
Nagarkar said growing interest in balconies, terraces and outdoor living spaces has created demand for specialised furniture solutions designed for such environments. He added that the gaming furniture segment reflects changing lifestyle patterns and increasing demand for purpose-built home setups.
The company stated that it continues to strengthen its omnichannel strategy through supply chain improvements, technology investments and digital engagement initiatives, including artificial intelligence-based product recommendation systems designed to enhance the customer purchasing experience.
