Synopsis

Hilton has introduced its premium economy brand, Spark by Hilton, in the Asia Pacific region with the opening of two hotels in Bengaluru and Goa. The launch forms part of the company's partnership with Olive Hospitality to develop 150 Spark by Hilton properties across India. Introduced globally in 2023, the brand has expanded rapidly across key international markets. Hilton said the new hotels are designed to meet the needs of value-conscious travellers while maintaining the company's established service standards. The move also reflects Hilton's growing focus on India's expanding hospitality market.

Hilton has launched its Spark by Hilton brand in the Asia Pacific region with the opening of two hotels in Bengaluru and Goa, strengthening its presence in India's fast-growing hospitality sector.
The two properties Spark by Hilton Bengaluru and Spark by Hilton Goa Calangute represent the brand's first entry into the Asia Pacific market. The launch is part of Hilton's strategic partnership with Olive Hospitality, under which the companies plan to open 150 Spark by Hilton hotels across India.
Spark by Hilton was introduced globally in 2023 as Hilton's premium economy offering. Since its launch, the brand has expanded rapidly and currently operates more than 240 hotels, while nearly 230 additional properties are under development across the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and other international markets.
The Bengaluru property features 82 rooms, while the Goa Calangute hotel has 64 rooms. The brand is aimed at travellers seeking reliable accommodation and essential amenities at an accessible price point.
Commenting on the launch, Zubin Saxena, Senior Vice President and Regional Head, South Asia, Hilton, said the two openings bring a hospitality product that aligns with the needs of practical travellers while continuing to deliver the service standards associated with the Hilton brand.
The latest openings also highlight Hilton's broader expansion strategy in India, where international hotel operators are increasing investments amid rising domestic travel, business mobility and tourism demand. The company has been steadily expanding its portfolio across multiple hotel segments to cater to different traveller categories.
