Swedish Logistic Property (SLP) has announced the development of a new 5,000 square metre logistics facility in Eskilstuna after acquiring land in the Eskilstuna Logistics Park from the Municipality of Eskilstuna. The company has already secured a 12-year lease agreement for the upcoming property, providing long-term occupancy visibility. The project is expected to generate an annual rental value of around SEK 6.5 million, with the tenant scheduled to take occupancy at the beginning of the fourth quarter of 2027. The development is part of SLP's strategy to expand its logistics property portfolio.
Swedish Logistic Property (SLP) has announced plans to develop a new logistics facility spanning 5,000 square metres in Eskilstuna after acquiring the property Kjula-Blacksta 1:108 within the Eskilstuna Logistics Park from the Municipality of Eskilstuna.
The company has also secured a 12-year lease agreement for the upcoming facility, ensuring long-term occupancy for the project once construction is completed. The lease provides stable rental income from the asset and supports SLP's strategy of developing logistics properties backed by committed tenants.
The new facility is expected to generate an annual rental value of approximately SEK 6.5 million upon completion.
Occupancy of the property is scheduled to begin at the start of the fourth quarter of 2027.
Eskilstuna has emerged as one of Sweden's established logistics locations due to its strategic connectivity to major transport routes and distribution networks.
